am i the only one who did NOT like the movie and did NOT cry?-__- the thing that turned me off was how quickly they eloped. i wasn't feeling their relationship throughout the entire movie and i thought it was a bit too graphic in certain parts.-.- a walk to remember, which was written by the same author and on the other hand, definitely touched my heart and made me cry.

I hated this movie with a passion. I am an avid reader of Nicholas Sparks, and when I finished watching this in the theater, I was completely unsatisfied. I was especially pissed off with how they SPOILER! killed the couple off--considering that there is another novel--HELLO!!--with the male character in it in his later years (i've forgotten his name). I did like the on-screen (and apparently off screen lol) chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, but the movie just totally failed to impress. I thought A Walk to Remember was much more touching and true to the original novel.

Nope, you aren't the only one. I feel exactly the same. Throughout the whole film, I though their relationship was so ummm... empty. I don't know why but I just couldn't feel any of their characters.

I didn't really like A walk to remember either. I'm sorry but Mandy Moore just can't act!

I really liked it. Though I wasn't one of those who SOBBED like crazy after seeing this movie (I did cry a little), I thought that it was really romantic and the chemistry between the characters was very touching. The ending was really sad though.
