Singer Kim Jang-hoon’s “Small Theater” concerts have topped the daily, weekly and
monthly sales charts of Ticketpark for three consecutive weeks.
Kim’s concerts, which have been held since July 7 at the Ziller Hall in Daehakno,
Seoul, have drawn the attention of performance industry experts as tickets for the
concerts were sold out continually. When combined with the singer’s winter concert,
“SsangSsang Party,” Kim’s concerts have topped even the annual sales charts.
A person from Ticketpark said Kim’s feat was noteworthy given that so many
large-scale concerts have been held recently, such as those of the American rock
band Metallica and the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival.
A PR executive from Kim’s agency thanked audiences for showing great interest in
the singer’s concerts in these difficult times, and noted that Kim’s concerts have
been sold out every time for the past ten years, which is a quite anticipated result
given the effort and passion the singer invests in each of his concerts.
He also added that Kim’s audiences are always treated to new repertoires and
original production that is hard to find in domestic concerts. The agency pledged
continuous effort to produce more impressive concerts in the future by developing
new ideas.
Kim will begin recording his ninth album after the concerts.
