I found the PV I was looking for--that tiny bit (from one of the fan-made things)---of Keita lying on the bed? I was trying to figure out which PV I hadn't seen yet--and forgot I'd missed a couple of Keita's. I knew it had to be more recent, so I didn't think it was a w-inds. It turns out it's actually Michishirube. (I'm a little behind. >< )

I'm pretty sure he wrote this himself (didn't he do all the songs from his CD?), but I don't understand most of it--just a word here and there. So helpful. -.-

their newest single hit number 4 on the oricon chart!! woohoo sooo happy for them, i hope that this year w-inds will be more popular in japan!!! wish them success!!!

its weird how they are pretty popular amongst asia, like taiwan and hongkong but not so much in japan, i guess its partly to do with all the competition and with JE bands!!
but hitting number 4 on oricon is not bad!!! gambatte!!

the new single wasn't what I expected, Ryohei cut his hair.... he didn't really show up much but still I miss his hair Wish w-inds luck with other single and hope Ryohei stop shocking me one single after another

o o o my gosh im in such a fan girl mood hehe just saw w-inds performing 'ame ato' on music japan hehe keita's hair has grown longer i prefer him with longer hair, and both ryuichi and ryohei looks good!! they looked happy!!

i actually really like this song now, i like the lyrics too!! keita sounds great live as usual though i think it was a bit strained near the end but overall great performance i LOVE his voice!!
, and theres this echoing part in the song where keita sings 'everyday' and ryohei repeats and 'rainy day' ryuichi repeats, like singing not just saying it, but singing it in an in tune kinda way and not rapping ( and as ur aware this is rare ryohei and ryuichi singing) and the girls in the audience started screaming crazily hehe so cute!!

i really hope this yr w-inds will be more popular in japan and have more activities, like recently they have been a bit quiet, but they seem to be attending more shows now!!

I have to ask something, but first--I want to make sure and thank Aireia, moon_kaka, and esp. vilankz--for helping me to figure out the PVs in the those clips. I don't know what happened with the one you quoted, vilankz (I mentioned Michishirube in my other post, so at least I figured that one out)--I must have posted the wrong one. >< I watched so many that day.

I have a question about CDs, though. I've been trying to figure out which single to get. Not only am I short on their stuff to begin with (I only have Thanks so far), but I want to support them even in a small way, if I can. I can't buy all of them, so I finally decided on their Best Eleven : Single Collection (Korean version). It doesn't have everything--but I'll get the others eventually. t_t I hope. I like space Drifter too. I'm also thinking of getting Keita's KOE. Whoever has this--what do you think of it? Trying to decide between KOE and Journey (just the plain CD if I can find it at Yesasia).

I wouldn't mind having at least one of the DVDs (concert+PVs), but can't watch anything that isn't region 1, or all region. Don't have a region-free player...so at least I won't be tempted to buy those -.-

I just bought all their old albums (from First Message to ageha) and I really miss the old w-inds. It feels so nostalgic listening to their old songs. I don't like their new songs... Very disappointing

I will still not go back in fangirl-ing to them, unless they will have songs as hardcore as 'ssup and Time Machine,. Hehehe...

just wanted to say -- i'm extremely disappointed in w-inds. atm. what was up with their ameato PV? I don't get it. what kind of director did they get...? only keita, hmm? are they TRYING to reinforce the whole "w-inds. = keita" thing instead of 'w-inds. = ryohei, keita, and ryuichi'?

PC have got to stop just playing on Keita's popularity. i miss the pure w-inds. who didn't fall into the boyband hole of doom... well, that's what i call it. it's pretty much the whole fanservice if i take my shirt off it'll sell crap.
i wish w-inds. hadn't lost sight of what they originally wanted. I know Lead hasn't. I still respect them, but i think w-inds. are starting to lose that.
don't get me wrong, i'm still a fangirl. hence the disappointment. that's why i want them to bring themselves back together...

yeah :\ the reason why a lot of fans sort of grew out of their w-inds. fandom is because they've been disappointing. i'm still waiting for 'em though?? D;

maybe they will redeem themselves in this album...

That's how I felt watching the PV, too. In fact that's exactly what I was thinking. I don't like it, so I hope that PC aren't trying to send us subtle messages. I hope they feel the same--and that they want to stay together for as long as they can.

Yes, Keita is the lead singer, so a lot of the focus will be on him-- but in the PV, it's almost like Ryu and Ryohei were added as an afterthought. ((This might not have anything to do with the PV director's idea, but that's kind of what it felt like. )) I don't really blame the Boys themselves, though--I don't know much creative control they actually have--even if they're veterans in the business. I do want to hear R+R sing more, too. -=- And what about solos from Ryuichi and Ryohei? Not just solos during concerts, but CDs of their own.

I wanted Journey--but I couldn't find just a regular copy--without the DVD. I'm thinking of asking Yesasia if they can find one, because they're the only ones I get my stuff from now.

hmm. i only have the DVD vers. of JOURNEY 'coz my friend bought it for me on a trip...



but yea. i mean, they don't have TOTAL control over the PV 'coz that's the director, but i think they probably could have said SOMETHING. same with the style of their songs and etccc

i miss the old w-inds. too, but we have to understand that these boys have grown up and have to change their style~i mean style these days are changing rapidly and in order to promote themselves in the music industries they have to try many styles of music to fashion wise. i could be wrong but that's just how i think or look it that way. this is probably what the company wants...but of course the members are still the same right? they haven't seem to changed as much. i feel that what we see on t.v. or videos is what people want to characterize them but their personality is stll the same. they'll always smile and be w-inds.^^ so don't lose hope in them~

i know many w-inds. fans had lost interest and moved on from them. i understand your reasons.

although i do have to say the 'ame ato' pv was a little bit disappointing because i only got to see a few seconds of ryuichi and ryohei. i do wish that they did some dancing at least so that 'we' as fans may not get the idea that we're getting now. i don't know why they ended up filming it this way. whatever the case is i love the song and the pv...it's okay~

^ yep, it's true that it feels like they still have the same personalities. I mean, if you read their blogs and listen to them speak they're still very carefree. but as of now, i don't think their goals are exactly the same as before. like, i sorta think they went a litte JE or SME? [don't kill me for that, please. i just don't know how to describe it...]

I officially completed the physical copies of their albums from 1st Message to Journey. I don't think I'll be buying their new album as I'm disappointed to the singles not unless they will release some good songs on the album.
