I used to play alot of games, I cut back. They don't seem to make games like they did years ago which is a disappointment. Although I like to play beatmania, guitar freaks, drum mania, Taiko, pop 'n music and the likes. Its to bad I can't afford any of the arcade style controllers or I would be playing those a lot more often xD... They don't really makes games that interest me anymore could be maybe I'm just picky, who knows xD.

Lol I looove games. Although I'm a girl, my favorite game is Dynasty Warriors LOL.

A few times a year, me and my friends are holding a game party. Somebody brings their game console with him and then we play all day. It's kinda too long for me though, I get bored really fast hahah. The last game party was just a week ago. We played for a whole 9 hours.

Wii Mario Kart is awesome!

My PSP and PS3 have been getting all of my attention. Whenever I'm not utterly destroying everything in Disgaea 3, I'm playing my PSP. I just finished Yggdra Union and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. Breath of Fire III is next.

Well I'm 21, and still playing games. Not too much a surprise for myself. (Considering 90% of my friends, boy and girls, play VIDEO games in some way/shape/form for 1h+ a week)

On top of that, I just came back from Video Games Live Concert here in Vancouver. (Hosted by Tommy Tallarico)
Almost everyone at that show was 20-30, even a few dozen 30-55 year olds. (And kids too.)

If you are unknown to VGL concerts, check http://www.videogameslive.com/index.php?s=home
He(Tommy) does it worldwide, so maybe they're coming to a theater near you! =P

OK, I have a question for those of you still into gaming... we are going away on a family vacation soon and will have some time to spare at our destination. I have an XBox 360 someone gave me that I haven't even opened yet! I'm going to take it on the trip and want to know what games would be good for the whole family to have fun with together? Yeah, if only I had a wii, I'd already know the answer to my question. But, I am very unfamiliar with what is available for the XBox 360. Keep in mind we have a 5 year old in the mix, and I don't want to leave her out. Any ideas?

i don't think xbox360 has many games targeted towards the younger crowd... i believe they have tetris and beautiful katamari. this is from what i remember while working at a game store. they may have come out with more since then. not sure. mellow.gif

^ Yeah, the XBox seems more geared to the older crowd... but, surely there has to be something... I'll google around... maybe there's something on the XBox Live Marketplace...

I'd browse around Xbox live Arcade, there's some fun games there that don't involve killing people. (Geometry Wars, although difficult for young'ins and only single player)

Gears of War 2 came out. Watching my friend play that now. Played the first one a lot, multiplayer all the way, but I've been debating on buying the second one for some reason. After watching him play I just might. I actually started back playing playing WOW again. I also found my
PSP again so started playing Star Ocean First Contact. This kind of sucks though because I havn't been playing games much this year, so I'm wondering what I'ma give up on first. sleep.gif;;

^^^

I don't need to try .. I know so laugh.gif Don't come crying to me like a baby when I kick your butt.. vicx.gif

Has anyone in here played Call of Duty? My nephew wanted Call of Duty 5, World at War for his Xbox, so I preordered it for him and just got a call that it's at Gamestop ready to be picked up. When I called my sister to tell her I'll be dropping off the game to him tonight, she gave me an earful saying that the game was too graphic for him. huh.gif He's 14 by the way. Is the game graphic? I don't play Call of Duty, neither does my boyfriend, so we are pretty much clueless.

I'd kinda think that games like CoD are focused more towards the older age group of gamers.

Older? Like 16 years and up? I don't know. His mom wants me to return but I can't say no to him. Can he still play with it if he's 14? unsure.gif
