my friend told me microsoft been banning people from live. just want to confirm!
They're banning right now, but one of the things about modding your Xbox is that you do it knowing that EVENTUALLY, yes, Microsoft will figure it out and ban people. However, my boyfriend has had his Xbox modded for three years, and think about it, has saved $60 a game for whatever he feels like downloading and playing, and just now got banned. The new firmware will be out soon, and I'd just think of it as another three years of free games.
Even if it gets banned, you just buy a new one, swap out the insides, and return it
You can go on Live no problem, as long as you get it modded by someone who knows what they're doing, and you don't play games on Live before their official release date.

I recently finished Dragon Age and it took me around 40 hours to beat. That game was an absolute gem. The graphics and all were subpar, but the story and characters were top notch. I highly recommend that to anyone looking for a brilliant RPG. You can read my review at the website I run. http://aggrogamer.com/article/1572/Review-Dragon-Age-Origins

Yeah, they could've worked on the aesthetics a bit more. I'd rather be looking at pretty character and costume creation by the likes of Hyung Tae Kim or Juno Jeong etc but I guess not all games can have that luxury. The choices for hairstyles were kinda horrible haha but on the whole it still works. The voice-acting is top-notch though I would've liked for the player character to speak a little more to add a bit of soul, instead of just staring at people with arms dangling during dialogue etc.
Posts must be 20 characters or longer. Do not bypass the swear filter.
Please argue your point without generalizing or name-calling.

Unfortunately I've kind of realized lately that most of the time, you can't have a good game AND good graphics. The games with incredible graphics are boring and unentertaining meanwhile the mediocre looking games have the best storyline and gameplay.

Kinda like movies. The more hyped the movie is, the crappier it usually is.

Today's generation is more obsessed with visuals over anything else, sad but true.
Michael Bay and the like are to blame.
Also for those of you still playing the Wii, Super Mario Kart hits VC this week. Just in time for the Thanksgiving get-together.

The graphics really didn't bother me as I was so entrenched into the story, I just didn't pay much attention to them. But I have to agree on the main character not having a speaking role. After playing Mass Effect, Bioware's last RPG, I loved the fact the main character spoke. Guess I will have to wait for Mass Effect 2 in January to get that feature, and I can ahrdly wait to get my hands on that. If anyone is interested, you can read my review of Dragon Age here.
I'm about to start playing either Magna Carta 2 on 360 or Agarest: Generations of War on the PS3 (imported from Europe)

Don't think it's my connection, as Uncharted 2 multiplayer works fine. Tried asking at MW2 message boards, but they have no idea what the issue is. I don't mind single-player, but multiplayer is pretty much the whole reason I bought MW2. Bummer.

This is why I have Xbox Live. Until PSN and the Developers work better together to ensure proper online gameplay across all games, I will keep paying the $50 ($30 normally for me) a year for better service.
MW2 has had online issues on PS3 since day one. I'd contact IW through their site or forums, and see if there is an issue. Do you have all your ports forwarded that you need on your router?
Really? My friends have said it is a pretty decent rpg. And I liked what I had played at E3.

I've heard the same thing. I was pretty excited for the game since the artwork is gorgeous, but my boyfriends brother said the game is just a bore.
Such a shame.
