I'm waiting for the PS3 to a) come out with better games
In college, I wouldn't be able to wait because you can skip class and play games all day long. But now it's different. I actually have to manage my time effectively...
What do people think of the Wii? I like it a lot, but I'm afraid it will turn into a gimmick. Because graphics aren't as good and there is a very unique control system the games actually have to be fun, which takes a lot more work than making a pretty game that sucks. And there are only so many fun party games you can buy until you get tired of them. I'm interested in the serious sports games- will you actually have to mimic the movement or will the designers get lazy and force you to use a Gamecube or classic controller? If that's the case, then why should I buy FIFA on a Wii when I can get the ridiculously sick graphics on a PS3 or 360? And where's a decent first person shooter? Not one yet. But Super Smash Bros Brawl will rock.
As for PS3, I think it started out slow, but once Resident Evil, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, all the heavy hitters start coming out, it will gain in popularity. Some of the youtube videos are just sick, just jaw-dropping.

What's making Wii stand out is their motion control controller. So all the games out right now you use the wii remote. Later on though, I'm sure there'll be games where you still use the classic controller?
I haven't played the Wii for awhile. I haven't even opened my Zelda for the Wii O_O. Wii is mainly party games (just like most Nintendo systems)? If you want impressive graphic, you might want to stick to PS3.

You gotta try Zelda! It's pretty cool. They really updated the boomerang since the last one I played, which was the very first one on NES.

I have the dragoon, ninja, red mage, and.... by golly, I forgot the last one.
Anyways, I really hate losing, so I try to level up a looooooooot, so when I encounter a boss... a few hits here and there and the sucka is dead.
I'm nearing level 50 and have yet to use a mage that uses white magic (White Mage, Sage). They're both at Level 0. My friends say I am doomed. Am I???

I tried not using a white magic specialist, and just used a red mage. I died a few times toward the end because I ran out of spells in long dungeons. So I had to convert that red mage over to a Sage, which then wasn't a problem. Then again, I never use my hi potions or elixirs.
Haha good luck, I'm pretty sure you could get away with it except for maybe the secret dungeons and the last boss. Let me know how it goes

I think that as long as they keep coming out with games like Zelda, it'll be one of the best. I'm planning to get a PS3 also but in like 3 years, hopefully then it'll drop in price and they'll release the slim version.

CC3 is going to be great. I have high hopes for it. I remember the days I spent playing CC:RA. Can't wait to shoot the Ion Cannon.
