yes, but they won't appreciate it since it doesn't have the pretty 3d graphics. The best RPGs are still in 2D period. I'm currently going through Legend Of Heroes on my PSP and the game is great. There are some bad tranlations at time, but the overall story is great.

The reason why 2D RPGs are better in my opinion, is the fact that companies spend more time on the story and not the overused CG graphics.

Anywho, games I am currently playing... War of Warcraft (Its the best.. haha what can I say ^^;; ), God of War II (Love the brute kills), and uh.. I think thats it. WoW take up most of my gameing time though. ^^;;

I need to go back and finish Final Fantasy VI one of these days. That game was my introduction to the series, and while I was too young to understand the ins and outs of a RPG back then I did enjoy playing it. At this moment though, I'm still in the midst of trying to finish FF X I played it through until I got to Mt. Gagazet, then I stopped playing it for a long while. I'm having a bit of difficulty trying to beat the third incarnation of Seymour, but perhaps I just need to level up a bit more. I did manage to knock him down 29,000 HP, from 70,000, but his Full-Life spell and Cross-Cleave always puts my party down. Any suggestions would be appreciated

If all goes well, I'll probably be getting a X-Box 360 in a week or two. For now, I'm just thinking of what games to get. I also look forward to going on X-Box Live, especially when it comes to sports games.

Lastly, Eternal Sonata for the 360 is looking very good, and that's one game I'll be watching for.

this is true to some extents. the main instance is probably FFVII, where the memorable main villian, Sephiroth, who has such a presence throughout the game, has a pitiful appearance at the last stage. the final stage "core" has no detail compared to other stages, and Sephiroth doesn't even have a lick of dialogue. Granted, his final attack "Fallen Angel" looks pretty sweet, but there's no gratification at the endgame. The ending just doesn't have Sephiroth do anything, but die.

that's why I remember FFII and FFIII so much more than FFVII, because both have really great endings that matched their amazing overall stories.

Thats a very impressive line up of RPGS you purchased. I'm sure you already noticed that the Disgaea series is my favorite. I still need to play Growlanser. I've had it for over a year and I've barely touched it.

I've been playing since as long as I can remember
I mainly remember playing Mega Man and Super Mario for NES, and now I still play every chance I get.
I was just playing Mega Man anniversary collection last night lol, even though I own all the titles for NES
I still bought the anniversary collection cuz I wanted to play the unreleased arcade titles.

I like RPGS somewhat, like FFVII, the first Grandia, The Legend of Zelda thanks to my little sister,and Kingdom Hearts, I can only stand rpgs so much they have to be excellent for me to play them
I tried the rest of the FF series, didnt like it that much, especially 8-present I just shut those down completly.

I lovvvveee Resident Evil, that game is soooo much fun
I own every title of it.

But my fav game has and always will be my beloved Street Fighter
best fighting game ever! So revoluntionary, I get such a great feeling excuting a "hadouken"
that I don't get from any other games, excuting the combos, and all of that, it's sooo challenging for me and I love a challenge
I don't like easy fighting games

Yeah, I am just trying to collect the RPGs right now, and play them later. it's crazy how quickly RPGs can become so hard to find. I'd rather pay $20 to $30 now, then $70 to $150 (Suikoden II) later.

I'll get to the Disgaea, but I'm finally gonna force myself to finish Suikoden III. I guess I'm a sucker for Suikoden I & II, that I have a hard time liking the changes and additions to Suikoden III.

I'm an on-and-off video gamer. Sometimes I'll play consecutively and sometimes I'll neglect video games completely. The last console I bought was the PS2, but that was after a gigantic leap from the original GameBoy and Nintendo. Prior to the PS2, I spent a lot of time playing PC games. Now, I play more arcade roms on the emulator than I do on any real console, although during high school, I always played the SNES emulator.

Gamestop had a bunch of the titles in stock, unfortunately most weren't complete copies. Growlanser was complete at 2 stores. You should check gamestop.com and see if any stores in ur area carry them. I look at gamestop aqnd their prices, then check Amazon, and Ebay for going rates and to see if I can get them cheaper. Best way to find them!

when you mean complete, as in box, manual and game? I usually have no trouble finding the game but usually it's in their own "custom" DVD cases.

Yeah, I mean Box, manual & Game. But some like AR Tonelico and Magna Carta have deluxe editions, and I want everything complete in those.

Nearing a month without any video games, i feel this incredibly uneasy withdrawal. it's almost as if i'm quitting smoking or crack.
