Man, I was an avid fan of this band 4 years ago.
I'm glad they've gotten the popularity they have now.
They're a band from florida and before signing with Virgin Records they were living in trailers.

I have both their pre-Virgin Records releases. Good stuff.

And yea, Face Down and The Acoustic Song (now named Guardian Angel) are my favorite The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus songs. "Getting By" was the first song I heard from them. Love all their music!

I like the sound of the beginning of the song... almost reminded me of The Offspring... but I'm definitely not a fan of the screaming because EVERY single band seems to do that these days. :T

^ screamo is a term that refers to recent bands that play old style emo. Most pinpoint the first use of the term to Saetia. When the media started to label pop punk and indie rock bands emo, people needed a new word to describe the style of music that used to be characterized with emo. Some say screamo is a little more artsy and pretentious than older emo, but that's arguable.

so it's basically like high-pitched screams, some spoken-word vocals all creds goes to urbandictionary. bands like Saetia, Hot Cross, Yaphet Kotto, The Assistant, Neil Perry, You and I =)
