Micromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Help please.....

Anyone here know how to use Micromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004? Mine teaching me/ helping me. i get frustrate while trying to creat a webpage. Plus somehow i couldn't dl the Layout stuff from micromedia.com and the one in my computer is not working too.

Please help me i want to learn how to make a FLASH web page (if that's possible)!

you'd probably want to figure out what html is before even going to flash.. and dreamweaver is pretty much a WYSIWYG editor so.. really just type and click..

i think you would want to learn basic html first http://www.htmlgoodies.com
you have to understand what kind of things you can do... so that you can tell dreamweaver to do it for u such as tables frames layers ect

Well i understand and kno what html are just that i have problem working with Dreamweaver. Is there a way that i can conver a .html or .php into a .swf ?

I was wondering can i do that in Dreamweaver? If not what's a program that i can do it in?

well, depending on how the html is coded, you can convert it to a php file... a php file can contain straight php code or include html with php code fragments...

now, i believe you cant convert either to swf, since thats a flash file, but im not entirely certain on what type of format a swf is... to use flash, i think you need to have the macromedia flash program (i used to have dreamweaver, but i havent installed it yet since i reformatted my hd)...

its like making a website with html but it types the code for you with the click of a button and u get a graphical preview of what it looks like while your typing out the code.
