Ok i have this kind of problem, that everytime i trying to log into soompi website i have to wait like for a few min then i can log in. When i try to log in into soompi, the status bar will upload it quite slow and i have to wait for a few min then it can log in. Sometimes when i can't wait anymore i just refresh all over it again but yet it still the same again and i have to wait for a few min then i can log into it.
I mean usually it was not like that, and in other website i can log in easily and there no need for me to wait for a few min. Even when i was at work i can log into soompi easily, is there something wrong with my IP address at my house or is it because of my internet speed?

I'm using Cable broadband internet and I use an ethernet wire to connect it to the laptop and everything seems fine.
Maybe it's because there's too many people trying to connect all at once onto soompi and this may cause your download to slow down..heh im not really sure. Did this happen all of a sudden or has it been happening all the time?

Start > Settings > Network Connections. Right-click on Local Area Network then select Repair. It should say "Repair operation completed... blah blah". Then try soompi again.
If that doesn't work, turn off the cable modem and router... then turn the cable modem back on first then router 2nd. Once all the status lights on both the cable modem and router go back to normal, do the Repair thing one more time (just in case your IP address needs to be refreshed) then see if that made any difference in loading up soompi faster.

Do i have to close all the webs first or not before the repair things coz i have try doing the repair things but they say "windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action could not be completed:
Renewing your IP address"

no you don't have to close anything when you're trying to do the repair thingie. Except I wouldn't try the repair thingie when you're in the middle of downloading a file. That's the only time you don't wanna do it!
Now because you got the "cannot finish repairing' problem, I'd try the 2nd option which is to reset the router and cable modem as described previously. I get it myself sometimes... but usually after I go surf the web a bit then try again, the repair trick would then work.

Ok i dont want to waste and make a new post so i decide to post something similar here. I not sure whether the warning message i get from bittorent got something to do with the slow connection i get from soompi.
And not only that i also have a slow download from clubbox. Usually it was not like that.

Well if you are using bittorrent, BT is hogging all your tcp connection since you only have 10 half-open by default, you can batch your tcpip.sys (http://www.lvllord.d...g=en&url=tools) that should help you when you are using BT and browsing the web at the same time, you might also want to cap your upload speed. What was it use only 75% of your upload and download for BT.
