I might consider editing so that you don’t have to wait half a minute for your vocals to come. I think the song suits your voice well. A little scratchy on the higher notes as it sounds like your losing your breath a bit. Not bad for a round 1 clip.

You've got a pretty voice, I'll give you that much, but to be honest, that all you've got going for you. In this competition, I mean. You already know this, but the quality of your clip will really bog you down here. Don't you have a better mic or something? Did you use Windows Recording Device or something? You can go and download Goldwave or something for free and it would improve the quality of your clips drastically. Right now, it just sounds like you're singing through the phone and I hate that. I really do. Your high notes REALLY need a lot of work. When you can't reach the notes, you sound really flat and there's this really disjointed feeling in your singing that makes me want to switch you off REAL quick. This isn't the worst I heard, but then again, I've heard some pretty horrible clips in my lifetime, so saying that this isn't the worst, isn't exactly a compliment. But hey, at least your Korean was good enough and that might be your redeeming quality for this round.

Well it was definitely smart having se7en’s vocals there along with yours. Not bad though I would get rid of the echoes. Some parts get a little loud and hair rising. But I like how you sung it and it’s definitely above average for a round 1 clip.

Ah. Se7en, I remember when his song "Passion" came out in Korea...everyone was in love with him. A pity about this, though. First off, turn off that reverb, boy. You're not at a live concert and if you wanted to put on that effect, then you should've lowered the background instrumental and then slapped the reverb on that as well. Second, TAKE A STEP AWAY FROM THE MIC WHEN YOU'RE BELTING YOUR LUNGS OUT. Your mic cracks and that's the worst thing you can do to screw up a half-decent clip. Well...there's a lot of other things you can do, but the mic cracks were just horrible. Keep that in mind. Third, you picked a bad song to show off your voice to its maximum. This is like getting Josh Groban to sing Ne-Yo's "So Sick" or like...um...Sarah Brightman to sing Christina Aguilera's "Come On Over". I can really see/hear you belting something from a musical such as "Phantom of the Opera" or "Les Miserables" or hell, maybe even the male lead's theme song from a Disney animated flick. You've got a good voice, I'm not saying that it's bad, but you REALLY REALLY REALLY decreased the effective of your voice by singing, god forgive me, k-pop trash. Plus, I totally feel the adlibs at the end...you know the "chika chika chika, what what what"...really made me go "WHAT?!" because it seemed really unnecessary. There's already a crap load going in the instrumental and if you add more junk in, then the sound just gets REALLY messy. Your Korean needs some work, but it's not that bad, so I'll give you that. Next time, I'd suggest that you stick to something English and with a distinctive Broadway/musical feel. None of this pop junk, ya' hear?

A very cute voice and the song choice wasn’t bad at all. The high notes were a bit shaky but not as bad as I thought they would be. Good job on the mixing.

I really wish I can write something long as my critique for this song but, I'm sorry. I just can't. You've got a sweet voice that slightly borders on the mediocre. Your high notes definately need work (ie, you're straining your voice and it doesn't sound very good) and I just don't understand WHY people won't step away from their mic if they raise their voice? Anyways, there's about 5 thousand other j-pop singers who sound exactly like you. It would've been nice if you pushed the favor more in your direction by singing with proper Japanese pronounciation (it's so obvious that you're not Japanese and no, I'm not going to call you a wapanese, that's too much even for me) but you didn't...so...meh. I've never been a fan of YUI (her songs bore me) and I was half-hoping that you'd be able to enter a more spicy flavor into this decidedly lukewarm song. You didn't, but don't feel bad. I'm a hard judge to impress.

No instrumental……but it’s no problem. Loving the voice, the vibrato. I like the emotions behind the singing. I’d like to see you add an instrumental for your next clip, but the tone, the control, you got it going on. I’d be shocked if you don’t move on.

I don't like accapella. Heck, I don't even enjoy listening to accepella with backup singers in the background. Like, you know Rockapella? <--They pwn, but...yeah, you just don't pwn this song for me. You sound OKAY but that's all. Your voice doesn't make me go "ZOMG, I'M GONNA GO IN MY PANTS!" and it doesn't make me "WOW!!!". Just..."Ok. >_>;; How long does this critique have to be?!" Everything sounds "decent". Just that. Nothing sticks out in this clip.

Once again it might be the echo but I feel like I’m in a karaoke bar with the ball flashing lights across the room. Nice soothing song and voice to go with it. I’d like to hear more emotion though, instead of telling a story through the song I feel like I’m hearing the same thing over and over. Another above average clip for round 1.

Ok, just by LOOKING at the original singers, I KNOW there's no way in hell I'm going to be able to understand this song. God save me. But wait! It's in English! Yay...I think. >_>;; Lady! Turn down your reverb! I don't want to hear echoes of your voice, I want to hear your voice. As in the "Original Fool" and "Goodbye Days" , I don't hear anything particular noteworthy in this clip. Rather bland and boring like vanilla pudding. Darn. I really wanted some spicy salsa and a nice warm chicken burrito. Ah well.

6. ilovejaejoong - A Love That Will Last

The instrumental seems to be drowning out your voice somewhat. I like your voice but for some one reason or another the song puts me to sleep. But if the listener can stay awake they’d have the pleasure of listening to you. Looks like another strong candidate for the 2nd spot after Eumsung.

Ok, first things first. Are you singing this in a studio? Are you singing this in an auditorium where the recording is happening at the end of the room? If not, you need to adjust your reverb setting for your recording/editing program. I'm having a hard time concentrating on your clip, instead of going "FRACKING HELL, I WANNA GET CLOSER TO HEAR HER VOICE!!!". You've got a nice rnb sort of voice that flows rather nice. Got to be careful not to sound too nasally though, when you hit those high notes. I'd like to hear your sing something with a little more "OOMPH" though.
