Does anyone know the proper stats for Ivy League graduate schools? (esp. Columbia in particular)
I go to a Top 25 public school in the U.S. and want to apply but am wary of my chances. If anyone is a GRADUATE student (no undergradates, please) and has any information, please share your knowledge! Thanks!

well I'm an undergraduate, but thought you might want to specify what kind of stats you're looking for. Like what department/concentration you want to apply for and such since my sister is going through the process of applying to grad schools and it really does differ.

I go to Columbia Law, but I don't know what you're asking for. Columbia has dozens of different departments and programs, each with different admissions requirements.

This may be a sweeping overgeneralization, but I keep hearing that I'm going to need at least a 3.8 GPA to even consider applying. ... which is slightly depressing, because my GPA is high but it's not that high.
I'm looking towards their Journalism M.S./M.A. degree or possibly their graduate publishing program.

Columbia's journalism is one of the best, if not the best, in the country. I think the acceptance rate is 20% or so. Unfortunately, I don't know a whole lot about it. I'm not even totally sure where the building is.
