I currently own a decent 'Advent' Laptop that i've have been using for quite awhile now, but recently it began to behave very idiotic! While i'm browsing through the internet or even leaving the laptop alone it will suddently shut itself off and restart...... I really want to know what is happening??? This is really annoying me and im on the edge to smash my laptop to smithereens, i have re-formatted my laptop atleast 4 times now and it keeps on restarting.... ~.~
Can anyone help me with this matter? I would be VERY grateful if yu can answer this diabolical issue
Thanks in advance

Wonderful.
Now lets poke at it and see whats wrong with it.
Hows the weather there? How does the laptop sound? (not with music but fans and stuff) You might want to spray the fans and vents to dust out the dust. Probably very dusty in there.
Heat is the #1 reason things crash... so I lean towards that.
If somethings wrong, like crashign the computer to force a blue screen, lets make sure this is unchecked so that you can read the error message and try to get a better idea of the cause.

Its also possible its a memory error, if its the case... or you suspect it... google and download Memtest86, burn it to a CD and run it... it will scan through your memory (takes about an hour or two) and find any flaws or problems in your memory.
Besides those, there are random hardware failures that can cause that and it could be anyones guess to figure those out.
