so yes i'm trying out for SM's Canada auditions
and i'ld really like some advice etc plz...
i know i suck. but i really really want to give it a try.

hahaha I'll reply to you again! But don't be discouraged from lack of replies, a lot of people tend to be lurkers around here, and newbies generally do get ignored (i'm trying my best to change that by commenting on newbie threads XD)

Ok, on to your clip!
I still get the feeling you are holding back on me. Project forward, don't sing to yourself, ne? And also, I get the feeling that you, like me, have a preference for singing in headvoice, as opposed to chest voice, in which case, you really need to put a lot of emotion into what you sing, for even a little of it to come out (I can only hear emotion in my voice when singing when I'm practically crying, cos then my voice kinda cracks. Apart from that, my voice is emotionless ). So either work on your chest voice range (mine is awful) or control that headvoice, so you can cover all notes (high and low) well, and put a lot of emotion into what you sing. You also go slightly off at the end I think, but I don't know the original song. And instrumentals are always good in covering the stuff I mentioned above! The beginning was good though, and you have a very sweet voice. Just need to practice and fine tune, k?

hmm...random question, so I can get to know you, what nationality are you? Your display name reminds me of a vietnamese name, but I was never sure how to spell it.

do you think you could please elaborate on what you mean by that?
