I'm a graphic design student, and I prefer working on OS-X systems rather than XP/WIN.
I've been using it for a little more than a year and I have little to no problems with my graphic programs.

depends on where you go with it. right now i'm interning for a freelance graphic design company and they're really laidback, so if you wanna go that route, it's a piece of cake as long as you know the right freelancers.
but if wanna go the corporate/mass marketing route, i imagine it'd be much more thankless and corrupted.

GD's h0lla! haha
i'm at a comm. college right now, but i'll be transferrin' to an art school (for soph. standing) to major in GD/advertising (hopefully minoring in photography) in a year
it's a saturated field, but everyone i know who's made it through said they love it; that's what i'm waitin' for =P
for now, i've got two socal schools in mind: Art Center in Pasadena, and Otis in LA. i'll be applying to quite a few more and even some in the bay area, but we'll just have to wait and see.
