I'm from New York, and go to school in Massachusetts, so definitely not as big as NY to FL. I like my situation since it's not too far but is far enough so that mom won't be stopping in every weekend.
pros: away from home
cons: worcester, mass is not a great city

im from los angeles but i go to school in philly.
pros: get away from your comfort zone, met all new people, experience true independence. honestly, you grow so much compared to friends who go to school near home and drive back every weekend.
cons: the luggage. oh my, most airplanes limits baggage to 2, so you either have to ship stuff or buy new stuff once you get there. plus, summer storage is yucky, have to leave stuff with friends or summer storage companies. oh you also might not like the weather, haha

Hey, I'm from NY and going to school in MA, too.
Hmm...some pros and cons? Well, having little parental control is a plus.

I'm from NC and go to school in NY. It was definitely a big change and at first, I wasn't able to cope too well with it. I just felt everything was so different. The weather change was horrible for me, haha~ And also not being able to go home on breaks, that kind of sucked too. But I got used to it, and now I love the weather, haha~ There's more freedom, I changed a lot and am proud of who I am now. I feel like being away and in a different environment helps you grow and discover who you really are.

pros: being away from oregon...more options more people more places to go
cons: being away from oregon...no more nice weather...no more clean air...no more uhma's cooking...
