You know those ads you see on tv, schedules, pennysavers things like that which states you can be this profession in 13 weeks or in 6 months?
Has anyone tried those before and have they actually got a job from it? How hard was it to find a job after completing the program? I'm currently registered in 3 classes at my college, but on the side I'd like to be taking one of these courses. My school provides a Pharmacy Technician course which cost $1995. It is a fully certified program that meets state certification requirements with 168 hours of class instruction and 120 hours of pharmacy externship. Even if I can't find a job from this, it will look good on my resume right? But I doubt it, cause I know pharmacy techs are in high demand around my area. What is your opinion on these ads and if you have taken these types of programs before, did it help you with finding your job?
