Hi this is my first time using Trend-Micro because I usually use Norton Antivirus
anyways..

my Antivirus has detected a trojan on my computer. it says that the quarantine was unsuccessful and that i need to remove it manually.. what does this mean? does this mean I have to search for the file and delete it? because I used search on windows but it cant find the file :/
anyone know how to remove viruses manually?

Antivirus programs usually tells you where the infected file is. Scan your computer again and find out where it is, then go there a delete it.

Again, it might be helpful to go and start the computer in safe mode then do the scan again.

However, it is very possible the virus was a false threat. As in it was an embedded virus on a webpage that didn't get anywhere and is already gone.
