hiii last weekend when i was working a 6-hour shift i parked my new car in the 100 degree heat..when i got back to my car i wanted to put on deodorant, not realizing it had totally melted in the sun..it splattered on my steering wheel and black interior.

white stick deodorant is like hot wax..it dried up as soon as it was out of the heat. but now my black (not leather) interior is stained with a couple white patches..anyone know how i can get rid of the stains? thanks in advance

soap and hot water...? you could possibly bring a blow dryer in the interior to help melt the deorderant off?

I would heat it up slightly, apply something other than soap. Try a detergent like Oxyclean and scrub and vacuum it out.

go to some car wash like bubbles or something and get it shampooed out or cleaned out it might be costly but if it keeps the car looking like new then i'd go for it

ohh i just saw a commercial and thought of this thread! get Mr. Cleans Magic Eraser! That looks like it can do it! If it can get crayon off walls I'm sure it can get deoderant off of cars.

The magic eraser isnt really for fabrics. more for hard surfaces and tiles.

The only thing I can think of is using a steam cleaner. There are portable ones like the Steam Buggy.
