Most people I know got who got accepted into UCI and UCSD picked UCI because they said the campus is better. Is this true? What made you guys pick UCI assuming you got accepted into UCSD too?

I got accepted to both and I picked UCI but it was because I got into the Winter quarter for SD lol and I didn't want to wait

I didn't apply to UCSD but I have friends that chose UCSD over UCI and completely regretted it.
It really depends on the person but UCSD is often known as UC Socially Dead.
My roommate, who is from San Diego, said the best part about San Diego is SDSU and UCSD "sucked".

SDSU has some great parties, and the ones at UCSD are just as good. Most of them are held off campus and sponsored by clubs and fraternities. Your friends must have had very deprived college lives if they thought that it was socially dead.

I'm a little embarrassed to ask this question, but is it just me or does the area around Langson's library have an unusual smell that's similar to "-----" ?

ahh yes the cum trees. I've been at uci for 3 years and it never changed. At least it doesn't smell like it near ET or ICS anymore cuz it used to smell there too

I live in the Dartmouth apts and you can park in the guest spots, all those ones on the street on Stanford and some or the guest spots inside. Don't make fake passes tho, my room mate got his car towed cause we did that o.o

Hi, I had a quick question about Bio 199 research. I'm currently in a Biochem lab, but I didn't get to officially sign up for Bio199 research for this Fall quarter. Now that winter registration's up, would I have to complete the Bio199 packet during the first couple weeks of next quarter, or would I be able to complete the packet before the end of this quarter? I'm just not really sure when I have to have everything completed by. Thanks in advance!

I'm currently a freshman here, as a Bio Sci major, and I'm thinking about changing to Public Health Science. How would that work? I know I have to submit a petition to the school I want, so I go to the registar to get that? Where's the registar? -sorry for all the questions haha-

On a side note, ugh, I can't register for a freshman seminar cause I have too many units right now. Have to call them back on Monday for more info.

hey! i got into vdc, and im group 1 to turn in my application while my friend that i planned to room with is in group 2. i can start turning in my application tomorrow, but she won't be able to until the following day. we heard that its best to turn in our applications together at once. should i wait for her or just turn mine in?

Also, have anybody taken crim c7? it says new only right now. if i waitlist, what are the chances of me getting it?
