I'm not exactly sure on how you'd write it. All I know is that you don't want to write it as a sob story. Be frank to the readers, and explain yourself intelligently. If you can, get a trusted adult [like a teacher or something - even if school is out] to help you through the process. Good luck on it though!

who here enjoys living in campus village?! i think im going to be there this summer and for my sophomore year.

i miss mesa court already

Hey I enjoy living in CV!! I lived there for freshmen year because I couldn't get into Arroyo. I'm also gonna be there for the summer and my sophomore year. Sometimes it gets so quiet it seems kind of dead, but it's very peaceful sweatingbullets.gif .

Hello, I am not sure if this the proper place to ask my question but I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to transfer from UCI to UCB within 1.5 years (basically before the typical transfer years, which is 2 years.)

Thank you

I'm pretty sure this won't help in any way, but it's always possible to transfer.. I have a friend who transferred from UCSD -> UCI (I think it's because the Bio program is better?...) in 1.5 years, iso t's doable, it will just be a lot harder because it's Berkeley. Talk to your counselor about it : )

ahhh it's almost Friday! Who's scared about spring quarter grades? I AM. I've been checking Webmail & EEE incessantly in hopes that some merciful TAs will post final exam scores or grades to end my misery. But of course, none of them do. T___T

I actually know all my grades already (well.. except for molecular bio. but I can guess, haha). That's one different I noticed between science & non-science classes.. I usually know my grades for my science classes before anything like philosophy, writing, etc. Those TAs/professors never post anything until final grades are releases @_@

TRUE DAT. I already know two of my grades, one of which is for my non-major bio class. The TA posted the final exam scores the same day as the final. My bio TA is faster at posting grades for tests with short answers than my sociology TAs are at posting 100%-scantron tests sleep.gif

I already got my altered financial aid (because I'm participating in EAP). I don't think it makes sense that your financial aid isn't on the FAO website yet when mine is x_X

For the Bio Majors on here, what upper division labs would you suggest?

Thanks.

look under winter 2008 and your overall gpa at the bottom should have changed.

HumCore is highly recommended. I wouldn't worry about a bio sci course load with humcore. The only quarter that I think would be hard is Winter quarter because that's when you'd be taking 18 units - bio94, chem 1b, chem 1lb, and humcore.

Hum Core is good because it gets rid of having to take other courses but personally. I'd think to myself whether you are willing to read. There's a lot of reading required for this class and the 3 essays per quarter is a pain crazy.gif I survived Hum Core and personally, I think it was worth it but it really screwed me over Fall Quarter. Personally, Fall Quarter's readings were the worst. If you don't like to read as much, I'd recommend Writing. A lot of my friends were in it and everytime I had to do something they didn't I wished I didn't do Hum Core lol

heyyy im a freshman at UCI
and i was looking for housing at Mesa but im not sure which hall i like
do you know which theme has the biggest space?

i went to one during wayzgoose
im not sure which one it was
but it was so small sleep.gif and it smelled weird at the game area
but i really liked the room

also, are triples really small? cus my roommate's mom wants us to get a triple cus its cheaper sleep.gif
but thats like wayyyyy too many ppl in my opinion :T

The biggest halls in Mesa Court are level Iv? I was in the first ones so it was tiny. 52ish people per hall, but personally I liked it better. From what I heard, it's much easier to get to know everyone in the hall. There was only one triple in my hall and it was pretty tiny..but the doubles are perfect.
