My first time was a month ago. My dad made fun of me and said the car went down the street snake-like because I couldn't steer. I was so scared because we were in a VAN. I thought for sure I was going to die... haha.

i tried driving for the first time around 1 1/2 months ago...i was kinda scared with the turns etc and i think i drove in a bit too fast. yea i had a bit of trouble turning and going straight again but i think i've improved on that. sometimes too i go gas crazy, and i still need to learn to use the brake pedal properly.

Wow in a van? First time learning in a van? haha. What a choice of a car to be driving in for the first time. xD I've been driving for more than a year and I haven't driven a van yet; heard that it's harder and somewhat to get used to so you must be hardcore by now. XD

The first time I went driving on the road, I remember being kind of scared, like I thought that the cars going my way would hit me. XDDD And I would constantly be like, "am I supposed to do this? am I doing this right? Am I doing this wrong tears.gif " like constantly paranoid. XD

The first time I drove...I didn't have a learner's permit yet. lol. My friends and I just went to this empty parking lot and took turns in Keith's car. When it was my turn, I was so lost. I just stepped on the gas pedal and the car when VVRROOM. Keith was like "OMG. STOP! It's still in neutral. If we were in drive, we would have driven into those trees." LMAO. I'm going to be a great driver. =D

When I first drove, it was in a parking lot. I accidentally pressed the gas pedal too hard and almost ran into a curb. >.<

I'm a good driver now ... although I always get yelled out for stupid reasons. ph34r.gif

The first time I drove, I stalled and bucked the car so many times that I gave up and didn't try again until two months before I had to get my license. smile.gif

Omg, my driving instructor. Absolutely insane, that man. During class he spent the two hours talking about snake hunting, a nice couple he met in Hawaii, a head he saw on the road, and how he feels sorry for kids these days because we have to take the WAFL (he meant WASL; if you're from WA, you know what I'm talking about). Actually driving with him...terrible. He made me honk the horn whenever he saw someone he knew. He knows like EVERYONE. "Ahhh, that's Jon. He's a nice old man. Kinda kooky, but nice."

ph34r.gif

Driving wasn't TOO bad for me...even though I'm 17 and still don't have a license...I still need to work on parking. I always end up over the right line when it's perpendicular parking.
Life is friggin' fantastic.

i learned how to drive 3 years ago, but i just started learning how to drive a manual 2 weeks ago. at first i was fine until the first time i stalled and i was in second gear. the car jerked a lot, it was scary. after that, i was really nervous. but the guys who r teaching me just think it's funny when the car stalls.

My mummy was beside me when i first drove and I think i scared her to hell and I still think I do since i've gotten my permit now lol. My first time she would make me drive in an empty parking lot and she wouldn't let me drive on the main road cause she was scared i might bash into something loool. I think I got the hang of it in 30 minutes. When i first gotten my driving instructor he said i was pretty good for a noobie lol. Except I had this fear that when passing a car i kept thinking i was going to hit it. I had low self-esteem when driving lol >.< But now it's like whatever haha getting my first car next week yay.
Today I am one workout stronger than yesterday!

my driving instructor was really chill with everything. he says everyone is doing great regardless of whether or not it's true. i guess he just wants you to be comfortable in a car. besides he's not afraid of the car crashing since he has his own break. he gave us food to eat haha. i guess that's not the best thing to be doing but eh he was cool. he let us drive on the highway and stuff.

but my first time driving was with a friend and he was really easy going with his car too. i guess he was really trusting with his car since i didn't even have my permit at the time and he just let me drive it all over the place.

but my dad is a whole different story. he's frigging paranoid about every little thing even though i got my license and he lets me drive alone. and to this day he still criticizes me on every little thing. he makes up stuff to lecture me about even if i didn't do anything wrong. i don't think he'll ever be satisfied with my driving. he's always saying i'm going too fast even though i'm usually only going 65 on a highway.

"Have you ever driven a car before?"
"No, this is my first time."
"You seem to drive pretty well for a first time."
