My first time was a month ago. My dad made fun of me and said the car went down the street snake-like because I couldn't steer. I was so scared because we were in a VAN. I thought for sure I was going to die... haha.
Wow in a van? First time learning in a van? haha. What a choice of a car to be driving in for the first time. xD I've been driving for more than a year and I haven't driven a van yet; heard that it's harder and somewhat to get used to so you must be hardcore by now. XD
The first time I went driving on the road, I remember being kind of scared, like I thought that the cars going my way would hit me. XDDD And I would constantly be like, "am I supposed to do this? am I doing this right? Am I doing this wrong

Driving wasn't TOO bad for me...even though I'm 17 and still don't have a license...I still need to work on parking. I always end up over the right line when it's perpendicular parking.

Omg, my driving instructor. Absolutely insane, that man. During class he spent the two hours talking about snake hunting, a nice couple he met in Hawaii, a head he saw on the road, and how he feels sorry for kids these days because we have to take the WAFL (he meant WASL; if you're from WA, you know what I'm talking about). Actually driving with him...terrible. He made me honk the horn whenever he saw someone he knew. He knows like EVERYONE. "Ahhh, that's Jon. He's a nice old man. Kinda kooky, but nice."

haha. I have to take the WALF too.
Isn't that a bad instructor? You shouldn't honk just to greet people. tsk tsk tsk

but my first time driving was with a friend and he was really easy going with his car too. i guess he was really trusting with his car since i didn't even have my permit at the time and he just let me drive it all over the place.
but my dad is a whole different story. he's frigging paranoid about every little thing even though i got my license and he lets me drive alone. and to this day he still criticizes me on every little thing. he makes up stuff to lecture me about even if i didn't do anything wrong. i don't think he'll ever be satisfied with my driving. he's always saying i'm going too fast even though i'm usually only going 65 on a highway.

"No, this is my first time."
"You seem to drive pretty well for a first time."
