I really don't want to spend more than I have to on a laptop that I probably won't know how to use anyway. (i.e. My video ipod. I'm STILL trying to figure out how to put videos and pictures in it.) dry.gif So, I'm basically just looking for an easy-to-use, thin and light laptop with a reasonable price. Nothing over $1000. I'm not looking for a laptop where I can edit home movies, photoshop and blah diggity blah because I will never know how to do that. Just... good memory, fast, like, lightning-fast, wireless internet aaaaand most of all, EASY-TO-USE. And if it comes with a free printer, even better!

Also, reccommendations on where to buy laptops will also be helpful. (Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal-Mart, Online, etc.)

Thanks VERY MUCH in advance! biggrin.gif

i actually bought myself an apple...but i was considering the dell e1405 (around 679...cost more if you wanna customize it for better things...)...it comes with a free printer. but check it out...i personally know jack about computers...just depended on the salesguy and my friend. i spent about 1200 on my apple...but they threw in a free ipod nano...so really I only spent about 1000. this is the first time I've used an apple, and I must say...I don't think I'll be going back to windows anytime soon. best of all, if you do happen to miss windows, you're able to install windows on mac and switch between the two operating systems. my friend also said that the aceraspire 3624 is decent...it's about 700 dollars at staples. hope this helps!

You should try checking out CNET.com, they give good reviews on laptops and whatnot. That's how I bought mine.

wrong section, this belongs in tech where there's a pinned thread.
Blacker than a moonless night, Hotter and more bitter than hell itself... that is coffee
