This one, not really, but yes, it a kind of "soft" cover of Bâtards de barbares by La Caution which is a rap song.

More than vulgary, I think this song is unhealthy. Not only because of the lyrics, but also because of the musical arrangements, really soft, which highlighs the violence.
That's why I upload it here, because of the disconnection between lyric and music, what we don't realise if we don't understand the text (that's the case when we listen to a korean song, or for us French to an english song).

yes, it's the same thing with all the others languages... i'm sure even if i like r&b songs, sometimes, and often, the lyrics are vulgary of with violence.
IPB Image IPB Image Hello, God! in few words
there's something in this world that's more painful than death, it's letting you go.... should i ask you to wait until i can get into your heart? i think i can buy everything in this world if i had enough money, but i can't buy time.... how can i win when he's already taken possession of your heart ?

Keren Ann is rather sensational. 'Sailor and Window' is a laugh to sing to-- simply because you can't. Well you can. But you have to be v.quick. XD

Would also suggest Projet Orange. They're a band from Montreal, Canada. Adored their album Megaphobe, but sadly, they've gone recluse since then. Still. Reckon you can find a few of their songs floating around YouTube. Megaphobe, Yeah! Yeah!, Les Geants, and J'aime were particularly exceptional. XD

I aim to supermilkypop.

Mylène Farmer is not really "old school" unsure.gif
It's true that she hadn't done anything spectacular these last years, but it's not like Sylvie Vartan ! biggrin.gif
(and Mylène Farmer was (is ?) quite provocative)
Hop ! hop ! here is Bae Doo-Na's thread ! (and watch Linda Linda Linda !!!)

I love Amel Bent.<3 She's my favourite French singer, then comes the band KYO.:]

I personally recommend the following: Amel Bent - Ma Philosophie; Le Droit a l'Erreur; Ne Retiens Pas Tes Larmes && KYO - Dernière Danse; Le Chemin (feat. Sita).
