Whoa... literally (i.e. lyrical content), or just in the style of their music (er, not that I know what that would sound like necessarily)? Just curious, it seems kinda weird in a Korean context.
OT, but I'm also curious... you got any ska/skin crossover going on, or is it mostly on the punk side and not so trad?
Most of the guys here are into contemporary American hardcore bands like Agnostic Front, and dress like wiggers, particularly Samchung. A lot of the skinheads here are far-right, listen to RAC, and collect white power music. The bassist of Samchung even saw Pluton Svea in Sweden (and didn't get killed). On their website they list Skrewdriver as a major influence. Of course, they also all have bootlegs of that Trojan skinhead reggae compilation.
Basically there's nobody around who feels strongly
against white power music. There's only three actual traditional skinheads in Korea--myself being one, the guitarist of Attacking Forces (now traded to Dirty Small Town), and the third having just joined the army. To everyone else, ska and reggae aren't "macho" enough. This country isn't good for trad ska and reggae; the only band playing that music is Kingston Rudy Ska.
