So I want to upgrade my comp to play games like BF2, HL2, and WoW.
Currently on 2.6GHz with 512MB of ram on a GeForce 4MX lol!
I am interested in upgrading ram and graphics card..
Questions..
What is a good AGP card that I can get to run these games?
Is an upgrade to 1024MB(1GB) of ram good enough?
I do not want to spend alot of money on a new card, a decent price for me would be max $150CAD
Another question, how can I find out what socket is my MOBO

You can download CPUz to get more information about your CPU and socket type.
CPUz will also indicate ram type and speed to help determine what you should purchase.
As for video card, I unfortunately don't know them very well and typicallyjust go to an online retailer set the price and see what pops up... then do research on it. Im currently thinking a 6800 non ultra as those often unlock nicely to the ultra speeds.
You like BF2 and WOW. Those two games are known to be ram hungry. Depending on how much MORE you would like to spend on top of the video card, you might want to look at a 1gb stick of ram instead of a 512 stick.. (about $60 and $30) so you could hit 1.5gigs which should be pretty decent for you.
