One of my freinds once told me that eating 3 plates is how much a person should eat b/c the owners could still make money without going broke.

under that, they earn a lot

over that, and they just might go bankrupt

I usually eat at this Japanese buffet, so I'd 8 pieces of sushi w/ the first plate, like.. 5 pieces of gyoza and some clams on the second, and ice cream to end it all.

So basically... 2 plates?

My dad always complains that I eat too little when we go ><, but he eats like SIX and i get full realllly easily.

SOOOOO~ how much do you guys and gals eat on average at a buffet?

i dont go to japanese all you can eat buffet because i cannot eat that much~

but at western buffet places...i fill up a huge plate with a bit of everything and then get 2 more plates XD
.......so much of the food goes to waste though >__<

Suprisingly. As i much as i do eat. I dont alot at buffets etc.
Cuz everytime i walk around, i dont seem to find all that much i would want to eat, but i eat just for the sake of getting something to eat, but i always eye the desserts though. xP

i can usually get around 2 plates at most. 3 if i want to kill myself by overdosing on food during a short period of time haha.

and when i was a kid... i used to eat like 4 plates... o____o

hmm yah i normally prefer not to eat at buffets though.

i eat only 1-2 plates. i don't eat much at buffets.
i don't see how my brother does it, plate after plate. i mean i get full right after the first

Can't eat as much anymore.
But 2 plates for mains, 1 plate desserts (cakes), 1 plate fruits, 1 bowl of soup, 1 bowl of ice cream, top it off with a drink or two.

I don't eat much at buffets either, I mean I don't feel hungry afterwards but I expected myself to really be stuffed. I may go like five times/five plates but I really only pick like two items at a time in small portions haha. I can't seem to decide so I just sit back down...

erm. i eat a few plates =x / 2 plates for desert. like one for day. one for ICE CREAM. then plates for other food haha

I try to choose the best food to fill my plates, because I dont want to get stuffed with just eating all the cheap stuff

like at a seafood buffet I dont eat too much rice because it will fill me up too fast

i take my time and i dont take so much food on my plate..so usually 7-10 plates hahaha (cuz like the last 4 plates would be fruit and dessert O_o;)...and plus sometimes ramen
