The school that I'm going to (University of Maryland) is made me take this test on how to drink alcohol safely.
First, they make you listen to a THREE-HOUR voice recorded lecture online.
Then, you have to take the exam.

Some of the questions were:

Non-alcoholic beer:
A) Contains no alcohol
B) Can contain as much as 0.5% alcohol <
C) Contains approximately the same amount of alcohol as a beer
D) Is approximately 5% alcohol

The purpose of this course is:
A) To help you make safe choices about alcohol <
B) To encourage you to "just say no" to alcohol
C) To focus only on current alcoholic students
D) All of the above

If you are unsure whether someone is just sleeping or is in danger due to drinking, you should:
A) Get help regardless <
B) Wait to see the person wake up
C) Wait to see the person vomit
D) Make the person vomit

ridiculous. just drink in moderation. if someone is blue or not breathing... he/she has or is going to kick the bucket. call ambulance asap.

yeah, USC is required to do it too. i'm almost finished though, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

I spread this out into a 5 day thing.

I got like 85% on the final test.

I took a lot of notes. The guy's voice was monotonous and super boring. I actually fell asleep once.

I got 75% the first time (lol) but 85% the second. It was sooooo boring. I just turned the volume down and totally winged the test

I also took Alcohol Education.... I just left it on and minimized the page while surfing other sites and then when the chapters were done I just took my test and left. Syracuse requires all freshmans to take this....

I know UCLA and UC Berkeley have to. But those seem to be the only UCs that do

NO way! That's really weird. I go to the Catholic University of America, which is comprised of Irish, Polish, and Italian folks...meaning that everyone drinks like a fish and the teachers just turn a blind eye (often joining in).

AH, ALCOHOLEDU... what a worthless pice of crap. they told everyone it was "mandatory" but at the end we find out we didnt have to do it. bullshit!

i just left it running and did other stuff online.
