My external DVD burner came with Cyberlink Producer - which is CRAP. I'm seriously considering to buy either Roxio or Nero now. Can anybody tell me which one's better? Or any other recommendations? Thank you!

Easy CD Creator (Roxio) used to be good back when it was v4.0. Afterwards from v5.0 and beyond, it really went downhill and many people have reported problems with it. Not to say people don't report problems with Nero either... but between the two, Nero is more versatile, a bit less bloated and has way more features (including Nero Recode's excellent H.264 ASP encoding engine). It's simple enough to use for a novice, but retains all the advance options and features for power users (as long as you ween yourself off of those wizard-driven programs like Nero's StartSmart). It's also got excellent support of all the different burners out there and is constantly updated. I'd recommend Nero as your primary burning program.
