playing avi files ?

i downlaoded something in avi. file form thing. and i downloaded the bs player ` but the sound still isnt working ?
do i need the codec or something ?

go to the microsoft website and download all the codecs you can find. lol. if it still doesn't work, google a program called VLC media player (that player plays almost anything)

I think you might need AC3 or OGG to get that soudn playing.
