People sometimes mistake me for being either Chinese or Japanese, because of my interest in those ethnic cultures, thus I behave sometimes as if I were one of them. Other times, they'll know I'm Korean. Over the internet when I've voice chatted with people in the past, they've all said that I sounded 'white.'

I remember once, I think I was 2/3 years old? I was at this market and some Korean lady walked up to me and started talking in korean and I started crying.

Throughout elementary school and middle school people would always mistaken me for korean.
Right now, in hs, some people still mistaken me for korean. They go like "O.O YOU'RE CHINESE/TAIWANESE, I THOUGHT YOU WERE KOREAN?"
hahaha, but there is a lot of people that know I am chinese/taiwanese.

as a child.. Chinese (cuz thats the only 'asian' kids knew back then..>_<)

and as I grew up I always got Hmong because there are many Hmong in my areas..
There aren't lots of Japanese in my area XP

Well in my area the only asian group people know are Chinese so they asume I'm Chinese. (I'm really Hmong.)

I'm actually Chinese mixed Vietnamese.

White: Japanese (idk)
Hispanic: Hola (they think im hispanic usually puerto rican)
Asians: white (eh halfway right)
Black: You're korean and irish right? (WTF how can they tell?)

OTHER OCCASIONS
This one lady asked me if I was from Barcelona Spain which I thought was oddly specific. I also get korean alot.... i've actually never gotten chinese... not even when I was little, but I think thats because I lived in New Mexico when I was little and everyone kind of assumed I was navajo. I've also gotten Inuit, french, people have thought I was one of the black irish, and assorted other races.

I've been called Hmong? (Honeslty I think I look nothing like a Hmong. My skin has a fairly light complextion to it)
Although a bunch of Hmong live in the cities just south and southeast of where I live.

I've been called Fillipino (I don't look Fillipino at all)

I've been called a East/West Korean (that's my fault I love messing with people's mind)

I've been asked if I was a Kazah.... (Stupid Borat....) (Although a lot of real people from Kazahstan do look Korean, and a lot of ethnic Koreans live in Kazahstan)

There've only been a few people who could figure I was Chinese.

Most of the time people think im Chinese - which I am.
But occasionally, some think im Korean (I am supposedly "pale") or Vietnamese. o.o Erm.. I don't know how that goes.

Sometimes people start talking to me in Spanish.

When they look at my last name they think Im Korean.

I was playing with my hair today, because it was being weird, and this one guy asked me [very randomly no idea who he is ^^;;] if I was mixed... he guessed black and white, and he said it was because he was black and white and... something else... lol it was just weird. I'm so obviously black, it's crazy XD;;
