i burned a CD with songs on it like a data CD so there are about maybe 40-50 songs on there, and i would like to have them back on my computer ...
do i needa CD ripper and if so where should i get one? which one is the best one/

If you burned it as a data disc, then all you need to do is to copy them back onto your harddrive.

yeah.. you just need to put the CD into your CD/DVD writing drive, open it up and start copy/pasting.

well i tried doing that and i tried getting them onto my itunes and i tried renaming the files but it wont let me...ya kow?

u put the cd in, open my computer. right click cd drive, choose explore. select all, copy, and then paste into my documents folder.

Why do you need to get them on your itunes =/
Just copy and paste it on your computer.
Maybe then get it on your itunes o_O

^I think that the topic starter is trying to copy those songs straight into iTune.s.
Alright, here's what you do:
1. Put the CD in
2. Open My Computer
3. Double click on the CD Drive
4. Select all the songs
5. Copy
6. Paste into a folder (whichever folder you use for music)
7. Open iTunes
8. Click File---> Add Folders
9. Find the folder you copied the music to and click open.
