today i thought i bombed my bio test but i did ok

. it's almost the end of october!! can u guys believe it? i have a term paper due next week that i haven't started....

i have a question guys...currently, i have like the worst grade imagineable right now in math...math 120 is hard. PRECALCULUS in high skool vs. UW- TOTALLLLLLY different, so plze don't say it's prolly easy. The tutors @ the center said pre-cal is hardest here in UW. but anywayz. should i keep going? cuz i wanna but what if i get a bad grade at the end? idon't wanna risk it @ the same time...

You only get one W... but a W is much better than anything lower than a 3.0 lol seriously... if i were you i'd drop it and like take the math placement and try to get into calculus =O~

yeah... i ran into phil like 3 times today... lol... he's ALWAYS at the media center or by george... that's where i always see him... where do u hang out? how did u meet him? it's funny how we meet soompiers.... one time last year i met this one guy (kenny) by randomly talking to him at dawg daze and then LATER i found out he was a soompier when he posted on this thread. soooo weird.

joanna ~ phil is good at math o_O u should get him to help u if u really need it! lol... but yeah the IC helps... and uhhh iono make lots of math friends.... (i don't plan on taking math cuz i hate it so much

^ok the thing is...ive been going to the math study center like everyday....i try hard on the homework too....

i failed my 1st quiz, i have a really high hw score, and for the midterm, i did better than what i expected..based on the curve- it's like a c-ish? So i checked online- my estimated course grade...and it's SUPER bad...worst grade i ever got in my life.

Oh, btw, I can "try" and help you with pre-calc, but I cannot guarantee you I can be successful. When it comes to solving equations, I can do it easily. But, solving story problems may take a while. My strong areas are only in calculus (derivatives with some certain extention towards integration).

lol, I swear, ppl give me way too much credit for math..but I am flattered...

ahhh! i can't mingle w/ them..and the class is way to large- i don't even get to talk to alot of ppl- the only math study buddy friends i made were from the math study center-we work together- and i understand most of it when im there, but i dunno...i guess exams are just killers..

btw if you're a science major i suggest the math 144 series. it's a lot easier and fills the req.
