phys121 is difficult for most people since it involves a lot of problem solving. there's really little plug-and-chug type stuff... a lot of application of the material + math trickery/skill... but there's tricks and ways to make it not as difficult and have a more clear path =D~

I just took Physics 121 last quarter, and yeah, despite having 2 years of experience, I got raped. I don't know my grade, but I know I got raped not because I didn't know the material, because I DID very well, but due to the fact that my class was VERY VERY smart, so the class average was considerably high. Anyways, it's like Angelo said; exactly what he said. Honestly, you really don't know prior experience, but the best way to prepare for exams are to go through your tycho homework again, and READ! I cannot emphasize how much you need to READ the book. It really helps (me, atleast).

i signed up for 111, but now i'm thinking maybe 131 will be better (if i can even get a spot that is..)
some say 111 is easier, while others say 131 is easier.
any opinions?
