I can't register until the 24th... I have to do some advising and orientation thing since I'm transferring, am I going to be screwed for classes?

btw, how is the class? hard?

Class isn't hard, really easy I think. You do for the most part integrals, a few differentiations and lots of simple geometry. Just the problems are tricky to understand.

I heard Mackenzie is alright as an instructor.

music 116 is the lamest and stupidest class ever..I hate it..I'm close to failing it...
Unless you have music bg, don't take it. Honestly, from a person who has no music exposure, I find the class quite difficult. Not to mention, you essentially fail the class if you fcuk up on one midterm. Failing music 116 is seriously so easy that it makes me want to go lynch myself.

yeah i have a few friends in it right now
i have a music background cuz i played piano and cello
and i noticed that there's only a midterm/final and if i screw up on any of those i would f up my grade...
but i looked at the midterm that my friend took and i knew most the stuff on it
plus i signed up for kappy who i heard was easier than saks.

has anyone taken concert season before? i heard that class is hella easy too, but i don't know what to expect on the test o_O

but more than anything i'm worried about BIO180. i'm taking it spring quarter cuz i heard it's best to avoid doing it fall quarter... i'm afraid i'm gonna get lower than an average grade in that class. all my friends tell me horrible stories about bio

ahh i signed up for that last qtr but dropped it and put in another class. i haven't heard about it yet but i know this one grl who's majoring in it- so ill ask her how it is =]

I have a lot going on next qrt so I was hoping to get have a easy load next qrt. Have you(or anyone else) taken Psych with Passer? I've heard stuff about the other teacher, but not on him

^ my friend had passer and 4.0ed the class
but he's a smart kid
i looked at his practice exams and stuff and it was really easy ( i took ap psych in high school)
passer is suppose to be one of the easiest professors for psych. just read the book and make sure you know your terms.

^that must be the guy teacher who my friends had last qtr- my friend got a 4.0 in the class too...i believe there is a psych book also by Passer. hmmm...anywayz i have McLaughlin this qtr- she is a wonderful teacher- and from what ive heard about that teacher- i think my prof is alot better than him =]
