and kim_says you mean 4 grls in the 4 bedroom complex or 4 girls in ONE bedroom? i thought everyone got their own room. and do you have to pay during summer break during the interim between summer quarter and fall?
Four girls in ONE bedroom. That's for Stevens Court Building L at least. The other buildings are definitely not like that...everyone gets their own room like you said.
And unfortunately I really have no idea about paying during the interim period...I'm guessing yes though.
Actually, no. I really don't know. Haha.

they are all in business major.. two in finance and three or four in marketing.. they visited Dubai and they really loved it.. it was important to me to know that.. and it was my first time meeting american students, but we do have american teachers...

I was in a huge 100+ lecture hall 1 on 1 with my professor for the oral exam. No one was around. I felt really nervous >_< and speaking was a huge challenge >:(. Maybe I should have had soju to loosen up or something beforehand HAHA jks jks.

Anyways, I'm from California, not completely sure how the system works at UW, and I was just accepted.
On my major it says PRE-MAJ (A&S), college ARTS & SCI.
What exactly does that mean? I applied for Business and International Studies.
Does it mean I didn't get the major I wanted or is this just how UW works?
Though I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the world and I heard it was hard to get into Business.
And, it seems like out-of-state students have a really hard time getting Washington residency. Is this true? :/

it means you didn't get into business. you have to do the prereqs first o_o and apply as a sophmore again =)
and it is hard to get washington state residency because you arn't in state o_O. but overall its more difficult to be accepted in uw but congrats on getting in! jsut do your pre reqs and reapply

It might've been the "intended major" that you applied for. I think everyone starts off as a pre-major as a freshman. For international studies, you need to do the pre-reqs first and send in a personal statement to get into the Jackson School.

I looked up the residency and it's got a lot of requirements!
I wasn't sure, because in California, I think all you have to do is live here for 10 months.
The much higher tuition and rain

University of Washington is really friendly when it comes to scholarships and financial aid. University of Washington has tons of money to really give out
I actually get more aid then I need so every quarter UW pays me to go to school haha
Sadly, the rain you can't fix much during the rainy season =(... but spring, summer and early fall weather is nice.
