*shameless plug* Japanese Student Association has a general meeting on 10/3/2008 (next Friday) @ 5:30 PM at the Husky Den (we only have one general meeting per quarter, so please go!

). You don't have to speak Japanese or be Japanese, you can just be interested in Japanese culture to join or just join for the benefits (lots of discounts up and down the ave, bubble tea discounts, and discounts at a few places in downtown Seattle). We'll have a raffle there for free stuff like Venus Karaoke free pass thing. Lots of other stuff will be covered like our large and small events

How's everyone's first days? Running on ~4 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours, not a lot of sleep the first two days

. Lots of studying + planning.

What classes is everyone taking? haha yumi that sucks ~ boring classes.

a wierd chrisdtian club gave me a bag =) i looked liek a major free loader... a girl i randomly met gave me bandaids to cover up my wounds O_O

anyways your hair now angelo its longer and it looksncie . it wa nice to see a couple of ppl agian...

my scehdule.stills looks really unorganized but can't help...

oh I have...Math 111, Communication 201, General studies 199 (anyone part of fig) and Korean 301...
ahaha loads and loads of reading to do...communting sucks... an hour bus rides...not fun when its raining...

oh how come everyone gets free stuff..by the time I'm at skool..everything is gone...
how early do i need to be?? i was at skool around 8 this morning...hmmm

Alaka'i that was an uncool douche-baggery comment. Boo.

They had a lot of free stuff the first two days. They started giving out bottles of their beverages around 10:30 AM. Giving out free Fuze drinks, regular and chocolate milk, NOS energy drinks, Coca Cola with their spin wheel win thing, and Monster or some other energy company giving out stuff.

They had some samples of organic food too

I plan to transfer here once I complete 1-2 years at SDSU and get enough money for away school and such.

So, is the atmosphere of the campus nice and such?

^-- The atmosphere in Seattle is like no other, in my opinion. Having being born and raised in Seattle, there is never a dull moment! I think the only thing that sucks is the rain, but even then that's only during the winter/fall/somewhat spring portions. Campus-wise, it's a beautiful campus, especially when the cherry blossom trees come around spring, and its pretty lively. Although it's my first year dorming/going to school, I've been to UW countless times for field trips, seminars, and other various events and I always find something new about the campus each time. It's like an adventure!

I can't wait for the KSA meeting. I signed up! and i want a tshirt! haha. good thing I live in Lander!

I'm taking ENGL 198, AAS 101, and a freshman seminar on event planning. Oh yeah i'm also taking ESRM 100 (online class). if any of you guys have been through those classes, let me know, I might need help!

my commute is an hour too, except the weird thing is i ride one bus the whole way and it's still that long. i ride the bus from the first stop til the last stop.. HELLA GAY!!!

joanna, on a scale of 1 to 10, how cool are the shirts? cuz i only wear shirts that are 8 and up on the cool scale =S

I'd say the atmosphere is what you make it out to be and this applies to anywhere. The more involved you are, the better.
