sooooo I was thinking about transfering to UW after I finish my General AA degree here in Florida. I'm to the point where I'm sick of living here (emotional problems) and I might just move back up north.

Is it hard to get in?
Like I don't know much about this school except that my cousin goes there =P

The IMA normally closes at 6:30 PM on Sundays but IMA Sunday Hours will be 11 AM - 8:30 PM effective 1/4/09

It's a really big school, i think there's about 40k students. The campus is really massive too, but it's really nice and a lot of-out-staters always comment on how good it looks. Life in the city is pretty cool because there is always something to do, it's just a bus away. In general life around is here kind of busy but in a exciting kind of way if that makes any sense.

yeah I heard its a combination of USC + UCLA according to my english teacher...he said it has the social life of LA and like the course/major aspect of USC so thats why I'm really interested in going there.

I just read in today's paper (Times) on how they're planning on raising tuition up by $1,000 as well as admitting only 5500 incoming freshman for next year. Seems super competitive, and I'm having doubts if my brother will get in or not now... =(

arljkgh money! Anyone know of any good places to take out student loans?! I need to take one out for spring qtr...

i have a job: doesn't pay enough, and i pay for other bills
i don't depend on my parents so i'm not going to ask for money from them. ive already done that for fall qtr
scholarships are hard to get D:

loans are my only option really
