Is anyone else having problems with the UoW site?
I can never access the site.

Is it just me or...?

yah u can buy lab stuff at U bookstore. but i just got the stuff from a former chem student for free haha. also, u might wanna go the first day with a lock and snag a chem locker so u dont haveta carry a bunch of stuff w/ u every lab day xP

i dont think im going to many dawg dayz events. any good ones that ppl found?

i might go! depends on the time though. is it okay to be in both do you think? haha. isn't there also supposed to be like the student activities fair thing on wed? that'd be so cool.

the uw websites work for me too! except on uwtools, the campus route map thing does not work, which is very sad.

i checked mine and it says due to system maintenance,its temporarily unavailable.

Anyway, I'm also an out-of-stater applying to UW 2010 Fall, and I'm wondering what the campus is like?
I probably won't be able to visit it :/

red square was a zoo today. so many people. it always feels so hectic that first day of the school year~

hopefully everyone's quarter will go well!!!

especially good luck to all you freshmen =) join clubs, get out there and connect! something i wish i did more of!

I swear Red Square used to be packed with food/drinks/free stuff vendors until Friday(today) for back to school. But it's empty! Why....is it because of budget cut? Rainy day?

Hey guys! So i'm wondering, did anybody transfer here to UW? I myself am trying to transfer and i have a few quick questions?

Is it hard?
What quarter is easiest to transfer into?
What does the school look for in transfer students?

I'm a freshman if that clarifies anything. Thanks guys.

^ Um, I don't know too much about transferring, and I don't mean to be a downer, but it's pretty hard to transfer in now. Like my friend tried to from cc and he only got into the Bothell campus. Also, didn't they even result in completely closing off transfers last spring quarter? It's pretty tough now... but someone else can probably clarify and give more information. ^^;
