Nope, that's a fair amount of classes

. How many credits?

I'm taking --> Math 308, A A 210, JAPAN 211 and T C 231

~~ suprisingly it's only 15 credits harhar. I think A A 210 and Math 308 are going to own me.

Yeah (Civil & Environmental Engineering w/ emphasis in Structural Engineering). ME, EE as backups =p. But decided that I also wanted to major in Japanese linguistics just recently =O.

So, I got rejected from the ME and EE programs (early admissions though). Not surprised at all.
I guess a 3.2 doesn't cut it.

Oh well..
So you're taking TC 231 as well eh Angelo?
What section are you in? I managed to sign up for the recent openings last month or so.

thats why i retook one of my classes this qaurter @_@ and now i need to take wsa =(

has anyone taken Comm 220 (public spking) yet? how many speeches total did you give...and how many minutes was required? how intimidating is it? lol, i've never been good at giving presentations and i always get shaky so i'm kinda stressin' here. hah

Are there any students here who get everything -tuition, housing, extra costs- paid by financial aid (loans and all) from UW?

I have some questions. o.o;;

i didn't- but i have two friends who got the 'Husky Promise.' They have like half their tutition covered- so basically they got alot of fanancial aid. No fair....but it's only for like families who don't fit the income standards- like low-income ppl. lol.

Yeah, that happened to my friend. Her parents are divorced and she lives with her mom. Her mother doesn't make much but UW has covered her tuition and living costs. Not sure about books though.

On the other note my friends older brother who goes to UW. He didn't work for a year and was independent I believe? So he had no income and UW paid for everything

~! However, there's like you have to keep your GPA above a certain average and other things to it.

That kind of stuff is for low income--it depends what you got on your FAFSA for the EFC (expected family contributions). I have the University Undergrad grant, it just covers tuition. I get about $2,127 per quarter from it.
