i hv a question can someone plz answer me! ><

well i hv a friend ..and she wants 2 go to UW but she thinks she won't get in because she has easy normal classes though her high skool yr. ,she didn't take any of those honor/AP classes, and she hasn't taken the SAT but she is going to in November sometime, she doesn't think she'll do really well though >< and her overall GPA isn't really good either ... her GPA is like 3.2 or 3.3? ...

so wht r the chances of her getting into UW?? ...cuz i know other ppl that has a lower GPA then she does and they got in even though there SAT score wasn't good either ..they got in because they did so many community service hours and there essay was good. ><

tell your friend, it doesnt hurt to try

and my friend got in, with no tough classes either...from chief sealth...with really low SAT scores. but that was years ago and competition changes.

I had a 3.8 gpa 1750 SATs..
not to sound cocky, but I rocked my personal statement.
All in all, I did pretty well.

But trust me, alot of people did average (3.3 GPA) and still got in. Now, your essay and activities are great factors.
