i got there exactly at one and wandered around the lawn and the stairs but i didn't see the sign >< i felt like such a loser so i ran off to work. i hope the soompiers who found each other had fun and if another meeting is going to occur we really need to make a specific spot to meet

So I got off work at 12, and had to take the bus home at 12:30, but I thought I could stop by for like 2 mins and say "hi" but saw no one.

OHHHH MAN. It's my senior year (of hs) and I am soo ready to apply to UW! My boyfriend is actually going to UW as a freshman right now, and is dorming in Terry hall I think? Pretty sweet! (btw, how close is Terry hall if you take the bus from dt seattle? The tunnel just opened today (yay!) and i know that the 71, 72 & 73 go to UW but I have noooo idea where it is; just for reference)

Other than that, I'm starting to apply soon! On collegeboard.com it says this for deadlines:
* Regular application deadline: 15-JAN
* Priority application deadline: 01-DEC
* Rolling notification beginning: 01-NOV
* College will notify student by: 15-APR
* Student must reply to acceptance by: 01-MAY
* Deadline for housing deposit: 01-MAY

I had a question about that rolling notification. What exactly does that mean? I know that UW doesn't offer early admissions or anything, so what does that NOV 01 date mean? I want to get started on my application as soon as possible, but am lost as to when to actually sending it in. The earlier the better, but I'm afraid that my personal statement might not be as good! Any soompiers to help me on this one? *coughphilcough*

not to try be be negative or anything, but i'm actually afraid to come. i'm from out of state so i tried meeting ppl today. it seems like many girls are so stuck up... especially the asian girls i notice. you have to be pretty to be their friends. like this is college, come on. it'd be nice if ppl were not so stuck up.

I got that vibe when I first came onto campus too. But I suppose maybe it's just how you look at it. There are always going to be crappy pretty people where ever you go, but we have a huge campus so, there's also beautiful people too. You should hang out with me. I'm not pretty and I like hearing stories from people out of state. I missed the soompi meet up to dance on the lawn. XDD

I saw DONATE BLOOD signs around campus. :x Anyone donating first day of class? XD
