Just kidding, of course I'd respect the hard working kids that earn their nice rides by working their butts off. It only makes sense.

Okay I was reading the topics in this form and was wondering...how do you feel about rich kids with hella sick cars or regular kids with sick cars? I dont' know but i respect the kids that are regular college/high school kids that work and save to turn there cars into nice rides. If there parents help get them with the car that okay too. But I'm talking about the high end rich kids that don't know anything or much that go out buy a car and drop a lot of money to try to fit in. What ya guys think?
rich people can buy whatever they want, why??? cuz they can afford it. On the other hand, it's a noble thing when regular kids work for their car, but they should know their limit, car = bad investment.

I dont find it wrong for parents to buy their kids expensive cars either. Some have more, so can give more. Every parent wants the best for their kids.

If the rich kid is humble and respectful, then more power to him.
but yes, its more admirable for people to work hard for their things, but then again if you putting ALL your hard earned money into a ride then that is just dumb. You should save your money for other things such as bills and for rainy days.

I couldn't afford a new one :| I bought a used one. My monthly payment is $650 wiht a 2k down payment which came from my savings. My parents cover insurance.
We own a mortgage company, I work there for $15/hr. I'm about to be a loan officer when I turn 18 so I can make a lot more money, and I plan on buying a new M3 - I plan on paying it all up front though, but I'll be saving for awhile before I do that. I'm probably going to get another used one, but with liek... 2k miles or less on it or something since the E46 M3 models are getting discontinued.

that's pretty good. i was considering gettin a new m3 (with options for around ~60K), but that would mean making lunch and bringing it to work, no more random trips to the bar and giving up on my yearly vacations to NY/Seoul for the next 3 years. haha...i dont think i could live like that.
