I'm being offered:

Steve Nash
Michael Redd
M. Okur

For my:

Tim Duncan
Chauncey Billups
Jalen Rose

Right now the way things are going it looks like a fairly even trade. I was just wondering if anyone can offer any advice for me? Thanx

no offense to any duncan fans, but duncan's game is dropping slightly. he's been having a hard time playing full season. billups is solid, rose isnt that good anymore.

for the other part, nash.. his assists are going to drop with richardson and johnson gone, and now amare. till amare comes back, id say nash would get u about 7 assists per game, no matter wat, dont expect double digit assists again. he wont get u much steals, but good percentages, assists, and 3 pointers (watch out for his injuries though). redd is a good sharpshooter. okur is alright, not great.

i would suggest u take the trade (its my opinion of course) but it really depends on who else u have on your team. mind providing the roster?

right right tongue.gif totally slipped my mind on that ... here's my roster:

Chancey Billups - PG
Vince Carter - SG
Rip Hamilton - G
Lamar Odom - SF
Jermaine O'Neal - PF
Antawn Jamison - F
Tim Duncan - C

Troy Murphy - Util
Mike Dunleavy - Util

Jalen Rose - BN
Raefer Alston - BN
Desmond Mason - BN

yeah i know Timmy isn't a fantasy monster which is why i put him on the trading table. I am questioning steve nash's effectiveness this year esp how he'll stay healthy...and redd's performance with the new line-up

yeah haywood is still up for grabs. my lack of an alternative center is what brought okur into the deal.
problem is without timmy i got no chance in terms of blocks

brezec, chris mihm are also available...... but if i pick up a free center who should i toss out?

forget mihm, brezec is a better bet. But with blocks...i don't know, i'm assuming ratliff is gone, ain't he? If thats the case, i'd go with duncan, even tho he had a career low in min last year, he still got His. Just cause his numbers won't be as bloated as they were in 03 don't mean he won't be more than enough for your needs. Plus, lower mpg means a healthier duncan

if u keep your original team, drop rose and grab haywood or brezec. i havent looked at brezec yet but haywood is a solid center for sure. if u make the trade, dont expect to get the blocks category (it should help your other categories though)

I am pondering whether to drop rose or mason. both are big question marks...rose is definitely a starter but his numbers are definitely off...giving him the benefit of the doubt that sam mitchell is playing more rookies in the preseason.
Mason on the other hand is fighting for starting position with bobby simmons...and mason's numbers aren't exactly great thus far...plus he's rumored to be trading bait for another PG.... then again Toronto's prolly wants to get rid of jalen and his contract too.

For sure I am getting Brendon Haywood....but i need one last nudge. Is it Rose or Mason? Thanks for all the help guys. Appreciate it very much biggrin.gif

get rid of mason. He's good, but he's got that simmons dude from LA cutting into his time. They might not need him as much anymore.

thanx for the advice smile.gif i tossed mason for haywood. But im still thinking of brezec cause he's got nice stats...just worried of inconsistency and health issues.

Im thinking of dropping jalen rose for kwame brown. brown is looking good thus far. think it's a good idea?

Thanks for all the input guys

my line-up now consists of the following:

PG - Chauncey Billups
SG - Vince Carter
G - Rip Hamilton
SF - Carmelo Anthony
PF - Emeka Okafor
F - Lamar Odom
C - Tim Duncan

Util - Mike Dunleavy
Util - Troy Murphy

BN - Raefer Alston
BN - Kwame Brown
BN - Breven Knight

I think that right now I have a really good balance in stats to stay competetive with points, rebounds and assists and for the others i'll remain pretty strong but prolly won't make top spots. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with this line-up going into the regular season. Thanks again for the help guys.
