pasadena city college for one year! hahaha just moved to cali so im going to a community college for ge's and to stay home help with the move. anyone else go there?

I'm going there!!! =) But it's driving me nut lately! I've been there so many time for stupid little reasons. Sighs and I'm so confuse with the financial aid thing.

yeah it's my first year. The people are really nice there. I just got home from PCC. I wanted to get my ID and parking permit but then they're close. Some guy out of no where talk to me and he was really nice too. haha...anyway is this your first year too?

pcc's really nice for a community college.
pretty good transfer rates too.
i went there over a couple summers a few years back.

Now I'm a student at PCC. I transferred there after 1 year at Mt.SAC

hmm i dont go there...but if u see the fobs that go there...half of the population of fobs (chinese, taiwanese, hk, korean) are my friends LOL

yeah it was alright too. I had Political science class followed by philosophy class.

FIRST YEAR AT PCC
The teachers are pretty nice and sometimes you get FREEEEE parking tickets from random people xD
Yeah there are kinda a lot of fobs there...but you'll grow to love seeing them around...or not

lol man im waking up at 6 or 7 just for parking blehhh thankfully i don't have class fridays and im done by 4 everyday hahaha. still need to finish this marketing hw =\

People go there not because they are dumb. it's simply cheaper to take G.E classes in college than in a university.

That guy probably didn't have any experience or his grades are not good enough and also didn't try harder to look for jobs that's why he can't get it

lol yea...im just going to pcc for this year for my GE's...waaaay cheaper then paying for them at a uni...then im back to my old college...or maybe ucla if i get accepted =]

depending on the major, the job market may not be that great. i have friends who graduated from ucla, from vocational schools, etc who are still struggling to find jobs. i tend to blame the person for not being able to find jobs, but when i started trying to help them find the jobs they were looking for, it was harder than i expected.

i dont know the person from that cal state school, but i wouldnt assume the cause to be procrastination or poor grades. sometimes, it's just hard to find a job that fits your ability/potential.

That is where i go!!!! haha. It isn't too bad just steer clear of the people who Smoke (For those that don't of course, if you do go hang out with them). Also the people who come up to you to ask you to apply for stuff are annoying.. Haha good times =

-Some guy wanted to invite me to a Party and Iw as like.. is this party near the Staples Center and he said Yes.. I told him no thanks it is BORING haha cause my Friend got conned into going to one and invited me.. duped into some Church thing...

-Another was how a few people wanted to raise Minimum Wage.. I told them.. 'You do know that if Minimum Wage goes up everything else goes up to right?' and he was like 'Good day' haha

Anyway... Yeah Campus isn't too bad and heck some of the teachers are really cool... Only down-side for me.. I don't have many friends there, cause I find it hard for me to approach someone and make aquaintances ><

P.S.: I don't really understand why a lot of people put PCC down, I mean it isn't because you are Dumb that you go (Although it is in some cases), but it simply is Cheaper without a Doubt then taking your GE's in a UC/Private College... I mean a few people praise me that I took this route in saving money before transferring, as they take pretty much the same courses as me at a UC but pay way more than I do =X.
