I think my problem been since last month (been over 3 weeks already), I usually download from CB a lot but one day when I went onto a CB page I couldn't be able to see the page. I try it out with IE and Mozilla Firefox and I have gotten two different results. Just to see if CB is down for an upgrade kinda thing but it wasn't though. wacko.gif I wish CB would work with Firefox but it doesn't and my IE is really werid lately too.

I print screened it for you to see.

IE
This was a message before the site loaded in MF
Mozilla Firefox

I have no idea what is wrong with it (CB), so I decided to uninstall the CB download thing and then reinstall it. But, when I reinstall it, I would usually go to Start menu and then go to the that has the CB icon to open it up and stuff. But when I open the folder I would only see the uninstall icon and the CB website link. sad.gif

I know that nothing is wrong with my computer but I'm just really lost right now...so if someone had this problem like me before. Please please help me out tears.gif

Oh and if this make affects anything I live in ON, Canada (maybe it just happening to some part of the world? mellow.gif ).

Oh, yes there was just something else that I encountered a while ago. I can't seem to view the videos on Youtube in IE either, it says that Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player. I would have to install it in Firefox though because IE wouldn't open up the download menu. But when I install and restarts my computer, I still can't seem to view any videos in IE. So, I would view it in Firefox.

I'm not sure if this two problems are somehow related but please help me out here tears.gif

I would really be greatful if someone could help me out with these problems <3

Thanks in advance.

I always get that same error in Firefox as well. I just ignore it and can still use Firefox to browse thru files on Clubbox. When I find a file I wanna download, I just cut and paste the URL that shows up underneath the file into Internet Explorer to download. That's all I use IE for... to launch the clubbox app and download the actual file. All browsing is done thru Firefox. So just ignore that "denied UniversalXPConnection priviledges" error.

As far as not being able to play videos thru IE... well I really can't offer much help there. Mine works in both but DESPITE that I still use Firefox anyways cuz IE just blows.

but in Youtube, if you just refresh the page...it'll work lol.

To DaRkViEt73 I also FireFox for my internet browsing, it's faster than IE, but I always been able to use IE for what I do in Firefox so I'm just a little tick off that my IE is being weird x.x

To aznhybrid I have all the updates, but still don't know what is wrong with my IE.

Okay, Firefox is being weird too, I can't seem to view the CB pages in Firefox now ;_; it's like the IE picture link in my first post now >_<

Try updating to the latest version of Firefox and see if the problem goes away (you'll still get the "Universal" error). Latest version (the one I'm using as well) is 1.5.0.6.

@ Jaysonessence I get that too. As far as I know, that's just how clubbox is. I've yet to see anyone show a fix that actually gets rid of this "problem" so I chalk it up to busy clubbox servers.

Everything is up to date. This makes me want to reformat but then again would that help the problem. Lol

Reformatting MIGHT help... but it's way too extreme for such a simple problem.

Try installing Sun Microsystem's Java program and see if the problem goes away. Restart your browser after installation.

Well, it seems that IE has told you exactly what the problem is:

It says that you either have an old version of flash player or you have javascript turned off.

If you'd already installed the latest flash player, then Javascript must be turned off. One of the Windows updates may have turned it off automatically because certain javascripting IS a security ristk- one that I noticed Several months before anyone really cared about it. So I disabled Javascript and I had the same problem you did. But I live with it by my own choice.

However, you can turn on Javascript again by going to:
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced (tab)>Java Sun (make sure it is checked)

Also, there should be a "multimedia" category, one of those options might be what you are looking for, so try fiddling with those. I really don't know because there aren't any details on this.

Best of luck to ya though =)
