Well I know SM Town is really big on promoting and advertising you. And EEG has really big artists like Twins, Edison Chen, Andy Lau?

But the thing is SM Town is probaly going to make me learn Korean, which is going to be hard for me because I'm so "americanized". And my chinese isn't all that great either.

i heard Isabella was trained for like 3 yrs..since she was 13..debut at 16..and look at her...she cant sing or dance either...

Why are you only limiting yourself to SM?

Why not try YG, DSP or JYP?

SM is really heavy on looks and if you think you have alot of talent you should really try for JYP or something.

Lol I'm not too fond of the way SM treats its trainees.

SM Town
- Probably harder to get into since you're not Korean
- You will tour Asia since SM is really big on tapping into the Chinese market and Japanese market and other markets as well. EEG doesn't really seem to care about the other markets.
- You get to meet BoA, DBSG, SuJu, and the Trax, and Kangta.

EEG
- Probably easier to get into if you don't need talent
- If you get to be in movies, your movie will be more likely to shown in America since more Chinese than Korean movies get shown here/ get into international awards festivals. Although Hong Kong movies...not so sure. But Isabella Leung was nom at the Berlin Film Festival for her role in Isabella and she's an EEG performer.
- You get to meet Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Nic Tse, Twins, and Isabella Leung.

Personally if you were going to go for the Korean option, I'd choose SM Town, because I think they're the best at promoting, and they make the most famous groups.

Andy Lau isn't signed under EEG and Eason has left EEG. I don't know much about SMtown but with EEG, you either do VERY well and get promoted or you sink like the titantic.

Well I'm auditioning for SM TOWN on Sep.13th since SM TOWN is having a world audition thingy?

xD And I'm going to Hong Kong on Sep.26th so I guess I can try for both?

well if sm town goes china/japan/and korea i can read/write/speak japanese. and i can speak cantonese however i can understand mandarin but speak very little xDDD

I agree that EEG has barely any talented people (and I think Joey is only an okay singer; kind of overrated) and Eason...I just don't like him. But he's not under there so whatever.

I would say go for both, or more though. Because the more options you have, the better chance you get the one you want or the next best thing.
