.. save videos (250 MB~ / .avi's) onto cd-r's? And would it require some other program to get the .avi's onto the cds? Thanks =)

CD-Rs are usually 700 MBs so you should be fine.
You could use Nero or you could just drag the .avi file and drop it onto the CD.
