& yea.. her next single/album is really important! it has to be good if she wants to establish herself FIRMLY in the industry!! we're all behind unnie right!? i have confidence in her.. but im REALLY curious about her next single.
hmm.. is it too early for an album? but maybe we'll get to see a new side of ri in soon.. a dancing side!! her songs have all been ballads.. great for her voice, but we want more ri in!!

It's too soon for her to be debuting in Taiwan I think..
she should have more Korean songs first before she leaves for Taiwan..
and it's sad that her Y(Why) promotions have ended..
but it could probably mean that there are better songs to come..
let's keep our hopes high and be more optimistic I guess..
though I hope she doesn't hurt her vocal chords from all the practices..

yeah about the vocal chords thing i noticed that during timeless her speaking voice became REALLY husky,like she was losing her voice, in the interviews. if you compare her speaking in chinese in the very first timeless promotional vids and then the interviews she did in the news vids of her winning rookie of the month and the other one with the clip of her practicing timeless in the studio...her voice was so much huskier and deep. Coudl really tell she'd been practicing lots.

I'm hoping she'd perform in China first. I don't know why but maybe debut later like a year later in Taiwan.

Actually I'd rather Taiwan first, because it's easier to make it bigger in China if you're big in Taiwan rather than the other way round..
if you do observe the trend between the two markets.. Taiwanese singers can be well-known in China but seldom the other way round..

i also added the odd word here and there in green. there's just one line i'm not sure of and i put it in red cuz it really sounds like she just sang 4 words instead of 5. so, it might not be "ni shi fou ji de". but i need to listen more closely. if we can get these lyrics confirmed, i don't mind translating it to english.

I'm sad that Y promotions has ended as well. I wish that they would have let her promote it longer. She was beginning to wow everyone in the audience with each new performances

Btw from what I know she's performed Y a total of 5 times. Let me recap for you guys:

1) The first was during some Korean festival where she was suppose to perform both Timeless and Y. However due to the weather the festival started later than planned and she only had time to perform Y. This festival was never broadcast on tv but a bunch of pgs back ppl in here were talking about it.

2) Hainan Performance with other SM artists (She sang the Chinese version here.)

3) MBC Music Core 12/30/06

4) MBC Music Core 1/06/07

5) SBS Inkigayo 1/14/07 (Sorry I wrote the wrong date and I just realized it now. My bad for getting ppl's hopes up. I'm truly very sorry.)

I hoping for the same thing as well. However from the looks of it SM will be busy promoting Super Junior and CJSH in the upcoming months. The earliest I think Ri In will release something new is either at the end of February. However I do hope that SM steps up their game and let her release something new soon. It doesn't matter if it's another single or a full album as long as we get to see her again.

I was wondering the same thing, too. I think she'd do very well singing her own songs. Y and Timeless were hard since she had to be able to keep the same tone from the original songs. She practiced so hard to be able to sing it like the original singers did and she did a great job however it did sound like she was losing her voice from all the practices she was doing like everyone brought up.

Me too. Even thought she's was trained to hit Chinese markets, I would love to hear another Korean single/album from her. I wonder what SM will have her upcoming single/album look like. It should be a little different from the first single Timeless, right?
