Yah I made a huge typo and just realized it today. I fixed it in my earlier post. Again, I'm truly sorry.

kawaiigurl27: I got my 06 SMTown Winter Album two weeks ago. Ri In is so pretty in both the cd cover and in the booklet. The only thing that made me sad was Ri In got two pictures in the whole booklet while everyone else got at least 4. Well I guess it's understandable because she's SM's newest addition into their big family. I've been fighting to buy the Timeless single for so long because I was going to wait for her to release her album which would have these two songs on it as well. However since there's hardly ever any news or confirmation date for an upcoming single/album I gave in and asked my friend to order it for me. I should get it in a week or so. I can't wait.

Haha yes the thread seems to be dying now. I'll go and see if I can find some more news on Ri In in a little bit. However once she releases a new single/album this thread will become active again. I think it will grow tons even if we only get a confirmation date for when she'll release something new or if it's just something tiny as long we get to see her again.

I'm currently dying to see her on a variety show especially the New Xman. I just wish that SM would kick up her promotions so that she'll get more popular and get invited to come on variety shows or if it's just to film CF's. Anything is fine as long as she gets more exposure and coverage!

Dude .. Jang Ri In gets called the Chinese BoA and Younha gets called the second BoA. I wonder if there's going to be any other BoA's out there .. o.O

there were alot of Second BoA's that debut but they all didn't make it big and were fails there were about 3 or 4 supposed 2nd boa's in that year but they never really made in so now they have all disappeared ... but yeah there was one girl joanna that i thought had the singing abilty that was jsut as good as BoA but i dunno where she went

so yeah i just don't think it is a good idea for any company even Sm to make any second BoA or chinese Boa or what ever coz all those marketing tactics just backfire on them and don't work out at all .............. like the name "Chinese boa" for JAng Riin is backfiring for her coz for one people had really high expectations for her and yeah her live singing isn't great in timeless so she got criticized and alot of antis .... i jsut think it would have been better for SM not to name Jang Riin the 'chinese BoA' .... becoz if they didn't do that then people wouldn't compare her to BoA so much and people would jsut stop bashing her all the time

i don't there is an issue to complain about jsut coz Jang Riin only got 2 pages in the photobook ... i got my winter album like 3 weeks ago i think ..... and all other SM artist have two pages as well so yeah there is nothing to complain about ...... the only artist in the book that got more than two pages are super junior but that is becoz they sang 2 songs of their own in the album and also they are a big group 13 people so they should have more pages in the book .... DBSG got like 4 pages in the book but each member only showed up twice in the photos ............. so yeah really there is nothing to be sad about ....... i think that it is only fair that each SM artist gets the same amount of pages as the other

But yeah i want my copy of the Timeless single as well but i can't seem to find a place where they sell it and i can't order online T^T ..... so i guess i have to go CD searching again

Btw for Christmas , she got me the DBSK 2007 Hanging Calendar. Anyways I'm still waiting on the Timeless single since I just asked her to order it for me like 2 days ago.

but yeah it so hard to find korean CDs here in Australia ... it like i'll find i like once in a blue moon or something

Wasn't the Taiwanese version a limited edition? Well I remember a couple months ago I looked for it on Yesasia and it said it was a special Asian limited version. I looked for it again 2 days ago but I couldn't find it anymore so I don't think they're selling it anymore.
Never mind I looked it up at the Avex Tawian site and you can buy it from them but the currency is Chinese. (1 U.S. dollar = 8 in China). At Annyoung, they're not selling the Taiwanese version just the Korean one which sucks.

LOL I introduced my friend to Kpop. At first she was really into Jpop but then I introduced her to Ri In and DBSK. She's been so addicted and obsessed with them since then. Recently I got her addicted to Super Junior as well. Haha anyways its the same here in California. It's hard to find Kpop singles/albums in the city that I live in. I went to Chinatown in and found all these Rain albums and others as well. However it's really hard to find singles/albums from a newcomer. It's like almost impossible.

^argh, yeah im in australia too and it's sooo hard to find kpop CDS! OMG but yesterday i discovered this store FILLED with chinese and korean movies/cd's... but they mostly had rain CDs and a couple of BoA's singles...even DBSK they only had one of their singles >.> and I was so excited to find DBSK cd too..too bad they didnt have more of their stuff.

lol i wish we all live in korea where kpop merchandise is like everywhere
from where i live.. its pretty rare to find any kpop stuff.. well, except .. again.. for rain cds etc.. he boomed popularity cause of full house..
there are lots of dramas and movies here but no cds.. -.- good thing aya .... and some kpop filipino fans discovered a place.. its kind of like a korean bookstore.. but it also sells kpop cds.. they have a lot of dong bang stuff.. and those cute korean things..

I'm a very big fan of Ri In, I think labeling her the chinese BoA is not really a good idea, I mean look at the artists that were labeled the 2nd BoA and then disappeared. I think that Ri In should have her own identity as an artist. I wonder how BoA feels whenever someone calls an upcoming artist the 2nd BoA, must be annoying using her name to make someone popular.

I haven't heard any news from her, I hope she gets to record an up-beat song, I've heard a lot about her dancing abilities, she should show it off though I'm kinda worried because Ri In has been singing ballads ever since she debut. The innocent and calming performance is always stuck in my head. I seriously can't picture Ri In dancing her a$$ off on the dance floor.

Hmm I know there are very few of these. After a bit of searching, I was able to find one. Some one made this cause they were bored it's like a trailer for a fanfic but there's no fanfic for it. (Hope that made some sense) Main idea - 6 Guys (DBSK + Cho Kyuhyun) + 1 Girl (Jang Ri In).
